cut of the collar area is off in the first Pic. The tongues also didn’t come super high like that. Seems like he’s trying to make the tongues look shorter in some pics and some pics they look too high420...that swoosh also looks thiccc. along with the other things mentioned by NTers.

The tongue thing in that pic is just cause it's sitting outside the shoe on top of the shoelace collars as opposed to tucked in. I agree with the rest of it tho, something is off.

Those black toes look fake. The white leather texture is different. The irregular swoosh stitching was already pointed out. There are a couple imperfections around the midsole/outsole paint.

This stuck out the most to me:

I don't think the rubber of the midsole should be that pronounced due to the leather panel.

Little sloppy here.

Weird wrinkles.

They're really close, but I'd call fake.
just to throw some water on these theories...i pulled my pair out because i know that i have the same “weird wrinkles” and have commented in the past on other NTer pairs that appeared to have the same issue on their pairs that they posted. its a qc issue i absolutely hate that i have because i love this pair so much.

so apparently, mismatched toebox leather was common on the 2016s and isnt necessarily a tell of a fake pair.
