Official Air Jordan 1 Retro High Thread Vol: Best Model/Thread

None of the rumored 2023 Jordan’s do anything for me really. Those 1s are an easy pass, and even my favorites of the rumored pairs (“Reimagined” 3s, Playoff 13s, and Cool Grey 6s) are a pass.

Even the 1s from this year, I’m ultimately probably gonna pass on. I think the Rebellionaires are good, and I like the Visionaires (Volts), but I know both of those ultimately aren’t gonna get much wear. I really love the Georgetown 85s, but I know those too wouldn’t get much wear, so while I did have those, I sold to a family member. Barring the unforeseen, the “Reimagined” Chicago 1s are the only 1s I’m trying for this year.

They’re cool to me. But having multiple pairs of Shadows, and a bunch of other black/grey Jordan’s, they’d be at the bottom of my rotation, take up space, and just collect dust in my collection. So I decided to pass.

The my literally made both these Highs in 2016 (with Jumpman logos on the tongues and heel, but Highs nonetheless) and said “let’s add ‘Nike Air’ on the tongue this time, and see what happens.” I’ll NEVER like elephant print on the overlays of any Jordan 1 like that. IMO they were awful then, and still just as awful this time around.

I have a cousin who had the red pair, and he LOVED them, and I’m glad he did. Just not for me.

I got that "Un-Supreme" pair, dropped some red SB laces in for a bit of pop, and rocked the hell out of them haha.
