Naaaaa buddy right where he belongs
Y'all spent the last few pages complaining about JB lacking creativity being the reason for all their shoes bricking but then I mention the one guy who can save them(he's done it twice already btw) and you laugh it off. Typical sheep behavior, hating on dude cause it's the "cool" thing to do. :smh:

I prefer the JPs... which I JUST bought recently. If I hadnt Id probably be in a retail. $100-150 is the only way Im buying... hopefully closer to $100

I'm an absolute sucker for navy on shoes, so these are a must have for me:

Looks dope, but I'll still follow the recent trend of letting it sit on release day for it to be outlet bound next month at a lower price (yes even in September it'll be outlet-bound by October)

Those navy's are nice. Guess I'll let go of my midnight navy co.jp's since I didn't care for the wings logo anyway. Definitely hoping these hit discount like most other J1's this year. Still gotta circle back for the green glows when they're sub 100.

You should be permanently banned from NT with this horse manure.

Trying to decide on them red joints sat..

Wore my shock drop pair a couple days ago. REALLY dig 'em and might double up for the right price. The Team Red is definitely more of a burgundy tone, so doesn't really work with all my Bulls and Cubs gear, but I can't justify the price of the New Beginnings so they'll do just fine. Nothing better than Kentucky/UNC or Chicago colorblocking with a good color and decent leather.

Let’s be honest, opinion of Gentry set aside, the brand needs FAR more than simply better leadership to course correct (although that is a start). I’m sure there are people on NT who can come up with better cws than some of the official ones the brand drops-and Nike/JB are ostensibly paying someone a salary/benefits to create these official cws as well…

Like many corporations, I think Nike fell victim to the illusion the pandemic created. EVERYTHING sold out instantly during COVID regardless of how good/bad the actual product was. This likely created a disillusionment within JB where they felt that regardless of what they dropped, it would fly off shelves. As a result they became lazy and just started putting out any colorways they could think of but now we see that this has created a situation where all they've whored out all the popular models and the less than popular models all sit. Currently they're pulling out all these OGs to win our favor again but JB needs to get back to its roots. I'd be ok with fewer releases if it meant more attention to detail and more of a story behind every drop.

Yeah I definitely think there is some truth to this, also it’s pretty clear they use StockX/GOAT as a measure of what is popular and simply create derivative cws like:

“Oh, Mochas are popular?? Well, let’s release the ‘We got Mochas at home!’”
