Jordan 11 chaos started raffles*


Did Jordan 1s chaos with resellers cause app/online raffles to begin?
I can’t recall what made them go from paper to online/App or if it was just organic evolution through the location locator tool. Anybody can recall the transition


Prior too that I remember FCFS tickets (line up get ticket automatically) week before release or enter paper raffle at each store. I don’t recall entering a raffle at house of hoops for fontay montana 9s i just drove there on release day. I use to call ahead and just pull up to get shoes at the time.

Bred 11s 2012 was fcfs and it was really different then today… ppl were acting like wild animals funny as hell as I reflect

They went to app draws vs tickets cause store employees were rigging in-store raffles and backdooring pairs. Had nothing to do with the popularity of any shoe. Never was a good idea to have min wage workers running ****

Footlocker employees birthed the online/app raffle system. Makes sense cause I never really had a issue with tickets personally

I thought that was already covered. They were still doing twitter rsvp and tickets in 2012 for the playoffs. It was most definitely employees exploiting tickets and rsvp to hand pairs to their buddies that ended the ticketing system, not the release of any shoe.

Are they trying to recreate the OGs with these? The OG pic looks nothing like it. Maybe it's the color of the red, the materials, swoosh shape....Doesn't even look like an honest attempt.

Ebay has plenty of pairs in size 11-11.5 in all sorts of condition for $300 and lower

It's been a good while since we got an OG styled bred.

I guess I have to ask what's a flop on today's market? If they hit sale maybe it's a flop but I could see random sizing sitting on release date.

Yeah I don't see it based on how OG cws across models have sold the past year. There will be restocks and what not, but too much evidence to believe these will sit on release day. If they can sell out most of 400k pairs of Military 4's how is this one gonna sit on shelves?

But whenever I do double up, I sell the 2nd pair before wearing them. Still a double up on these tho.

Pics of the 85 Bred look like a GS pair imo based on how small the collar is and it just looks small so hopefully that's why they look off.
