So the extra $50 on top of retail is simply for a more coveted cw?

Honestly, that's super lame but I wonder if this is going to be their new business strategy-charge more for better cws. I think this is a bad idea because people will slow down on their sneaker purchases as a result.

Agree completely. Besides, every CW is being crafted by the same group of slaves.

Very correct. What I was getting at is slavery is still very much a thing today., so clearly it's a word that's still alive (unfortunately).
I hate to say it but anyone working a modern day job is a slave. You work for food, housing and transportation but you will never be able to live without that job. The plantation is Country borders. Freeing slaves was only to scale Countries as a Taxable business. Now the whole country’s are one big company. Anybody within the borders are slaves to the bigger picture of each Country’s corporations. Paying ppl less then livable wages is slavery. Capitalism = Slavery as long as business is in place slavery will exist. Someone will always stand to profit with little to no work.

Interesting perspective.

You could leave another plantation willingly and go to another?

They had paid days off and health care?

You get whipped and raped on your job?

Lazy *** take

Go search the defining term of slavery. I assume by your logic and reasoning no one today can be a slave without those aspects included?

Slavery Definition: exhausting labor or restricted freedom.

You may not be able to perceive the concept but your lack of understanding still won’t alter mine. You provided a weak argument which I could address specifically but why.

I am not here to alter your perception but provide understanding to mine.

So you're going by a definition you just googled, instead what American slavery actually was and consisted of?

Thanks for proving you have absolutely no understanding and knowledge of american slavery.

And I hope you're not black saying that silly ****.

You created your on points of understanding and moved the goal post. I stated there was still slavery I never stated what year, what country, group of ppl or as to it relates. You think your intelligence is valued by undermining others. You dont even have confidence in your argument as to the constant diverting. Your mentally a child stop watch out goof troop

The irony is that I feel as though I'm talking to a child or one of the dudes who preach to the sky.

Wading through your incoherent babble.

To mention goal post moving, and now your argument is that you didn't specify american slavery. It's that air conditioned, dental plan and nice slavery from somewhere else

You need to get busy with some books to learn what slavery was.

Wait.. does Nike/JB actually give their factory workers paid days off and healthcare now?

That’s honestly really great, if so. I know they used to get a lot of harsh (but warranted) criticism about their labor practices in the past so that’s really cool of them to do this in the developing countries they manufacture their products in.

Slavery has never been and currently isn't confined to the United States and the United States only. Slavery has existed during the entirety of civilization on this planet. Your Nike kicks were very likely assembled by slaves in western China and the battery in your smart phone was very likely made possible by cobalt being extracted by slaves in the mines in the Congo.

And to end this silly lazy *** slavery comparison. You know what you can do if you don't like capitalism? Leave

and not have people chase you down, torture you and bring you back or kill you.

You can choose not to care about money and be homeless.

You have choices. As opposed to slavery or death.
