As long as homie didn't pay resell on those Banneds he still got his monies worth. Obviously they could've sold for more but he sold a used shoe for twice as much as he potentially paid for it (obviously not the biggest come up), but still a fair return.


Cats be over valuing shoes and **** man I swear. I own a solid 5.5 pairs of breds (including Lance Mountains). I've literally watched the price go up and down with every new release. **** happens, if I get what paid plus something on top after having optionally worn the shoe whether it was 1 or 100 times after 6 years I'm happy.

So I was talking to a co-worker the other day and he was telling me that he had I sell some sneakers because he wanted a new car, so he took them to a local consignment shop. Out of curiosity I asked him what sneakers he sold, he told me "you know the Banned 1's, the ones with the x on the back", I was like "word, how much u get for em?" He responded "like $300"

I legit almost fell out of my chair.

Dude had no idea but he said he needed fast money.

I'm a keep that on the low, there is always 2 sides to a story so I don't want to bring any negative attention to a shop without having all the details or having completed the transaction myself.

But sneakaprince is right, dude got $300 for a sneaker he paid retail for, he could've gotten more but at least he didn't take a loss.

The shop really didn't do anything wrong, they low ball people all the time though especially if you come in with used kicks or if you just come out and say you need cash ASAP which judging by the story is exactly what happened because I find it hard to believe they just straight up offered $300 but idk

But dog, he could of sold his banneds for 1200+ and thatd be money toward a car. Which is why he sold them in the first place.

I get how much banneds "go" for but that's not without work. A lot of times that's shops selling only after having a rep. It takes a while selling that shoe used at that price like that, and like u said he NEEDED that cash.
