depends what quality you're looking for. Are the Unions the softest, buttery-est leather? Nope.

wasn't fortunate enough to cop unions, but i did come up on a pair of gym reds, which came in today. (sidenote: i been kicking myself since i passed up on a ds pair for $400 at sneakercon dc 2015.)

SBB aint that great tho in general

not idea why they're ranked so high and I had two pairs myself.

ill take a thick, high quality soft leather over thin overly tumbled soft leather any day

unions look great but if my pair ever ships ill see for myself

SBB should be highly regarded when you compare to all other SBB style releases (bred toes, court purples, pine greens and etc), those other releases are bad.

these on the other hand are quality all around.
