they're starting to get cocky and think they can offer us customers whatever THEY like rather than what WE want (columbia XIs for example) . these will do numbers im sure , but not nearly the numbers the Breds and Concords did for them . hopefully this wakes them up a little bit ...

EDIT -- the people saying they are basically the same as the space jams cant be serious ... they are as similar to the space jams as the BREDs are

as a matter of fact -- the BREDs have more in common with the space jams than these do . BREDs only have a diff sole and jumpman color while these have a diff sole , midsole AND jumpman color

a year and a 1/2 back basically almost went on sale..DIFFERENCES MATTER.

And anyway, your example is not a good one. The 3s and 4s were fundamentally changed. We're not talking about SJs all of a sudden having orange on the bottom. These aren't even SJs-- but they highly resemble them.

That black mid-sole does nothing for me.. The yellow jumpman jordan is not too bad nor is the blue on the ankle jumpman. Hopefully the 'other' XI will be more interesting because JB lost me on this one, I don't get it....

These are horrible. These suck. They're pathetic. But that's not a bad thing. It's good for me....and you, if you're able to look beyond the superficial. 

And this is coming from someone who loves XIs. And don't delude yourself - no amount of "on foot," "with jeans," etc. pics will change my mind and convince me to spend 185 hard earned dollars for $4.00 in materials, and negative-value creativity. And, before you decide you want to have fun with net income comparisons (e.g., the "if you had money, you wouldn't care about how much they cost" non-sense), I'm a petroleum engineer; I made just about $185 in an hour and a half taking a dump, getting Starbucks and typing this.

Wise thought for the day - Just because you have money, doesn't mean it has to be spent injudiciously. 

Actually, I was hoping something like this would happen. If people actually stick to their guns, and not just buy anything "limited" that Jordan drops (out of fear that they will be the only ones without a chair when the music stops) JB might actually start taking people seriously with respect to better materials, colorways, and quality. They might actually begin looking at sites like this as a referendum on what they should be doing to remain relevant and sustain brand loyalty. 

Unfortunately, though, people will gladly over pay for mediocrity. And they're fine working against their economic self-interest.

These doon't look damn near the same as SJ's. If they had a white mid-sole I could understand you saying that. These look like a different animal, an ugly sister if you will. I for 1 tend to buy the same shoes again because I wear mine and don't double up, with the exception of the 01 SJ's that I doubled  up on. I

To me they do. 

All black upper, blue jump man. Sure the blue is off, but it's still blue. 

One guy had a point about SJs and Breds resembling each other better, but that doesn't change the fact that these are in that echelon. But his point further strengthens mine, I think: the color blocking on them is nearly the same with the exception of the midsole. That's fine.

So why the complaints? Do we just want nothing but the same freaking shoe, but different color accents (for example, imagine Bred but orange where there is red)?  I'm just not seeing the logic behind these rants... we can have an all white 11 (columbias) with a blue jump man, but not an all black one?
