Air max 97 will always be iconic because it introduced the first sole where it had one singular air unit

... and since we are doing rankings, here's mine (most of y'all probably think it's blasphemous.

1. AM 2003
2. LD Zero
3. AM Deluxe
4. AM 95
5. AM 97

Dope to hear Golds restocking next year. Also, Atlantic blues have made it into my top 5 buys of the year. Cant stop wearin these things. Told myself I wouldnt get neons, but now I may have to...

Top 5, Top 5, Top 5.. (1 and 2 are interchangeable)

1. Air Max 95
2. Air Max 97
3. Air Tuned Max
4. Air Max TL 1998
5. Air Max 96

Honorable Mention.. Air Max Plus, Air Max 120, Air Max 1

And these were dope when I was in HS but not on my list.

Why do most reviewers say '97s aren't comfortable? With an air unit that big, they really should have a nice soft step. Or do most of them have a PSI that is too high (like most '90s, '95s, and 1s) such that there's not much give? Or are we not wearing them enough to sufficiently break them in? Wish we could adjust the PSI. When I'm squatting at the gym I can feel most of my visible air Nikes/Jordans flexing....guess I need to gain another 200+ lbs to compress that damned air bag!
