Haven't seen Kuroda pitch this year, but from the stats the announcers are using it seems like his limit is right around 100 and the drop off after that is significant. Girardi was coming out to get him earlier, after the second hit, and down 1 in an almost must win situation, it was the right move.

Kuroda's an innings-eater like Edwin Jackson. Definition of reliability and consistency with quality starts. He just didn't get any run support tonight.

No, he can go over 100. Has done it multiple times this year. Girardi always pulls the starter after a hit or two in an inning.
