I'm finishing the book right now. Thought about seeing it tomorrow but after reading the reactions might hold off and watch Star Trek instead

Book is tight right?

I was in 10x more suspense reading the words 1 by 1 than i was watching the film... which really really sucks.

Caught it yesterday. The movie translates better from the book compared to the Da Vinci Code. I'd give it a solid 3 out of 5. Not great, but Iwasn't expecting too much out of this film to begin with.

Total waste of money...if you've read the book, TRUST ME, do not see this film. It was a huge disappointment. I dozed off 3 times in the first 45 minutes. This is the 2nd movie in my life where I snoozed in the theater (Spawn being the other). The movie does no justice to the book. Shame on you, Ron Howard

some parts yes but the parts that go against the church was filmed in Hollywood.. i saw this Thursday at the premier in s.f. and i liked it but ihaven't read the book but i was into it

I thought it was a good movie. I didnt read the book though. I will this summer however.

i read the book and i thought the movie was decent.
they skipped SO MUCH information though. i was disappointed in that.
i felt that everything was rushed. (yes i know its impossible to fit all those details into the movie). but every scene felt like: okay heres a symbol lets go!and it just repeated over and over.

I liked the music and the suspense for each murder scene.

However, did they even mention that the killer was hired by the camerlengo and that the camerlengo was called Janus?

I finally got around to seeing this last week.

God, what a disgrace.

I was so discontent with it that I was making notes of differences from the book on my BlackBerry during it.

If I remember, I'll run through them when I get home later.

Wheres the Illuminati Diamond????

Cross keys is the last brand? WEAK.

No battle between Langdon and the bad guy?

Seemed to me that in the movie they acted like being at St. Peters tomb was no big deal at all... the book gave me a feeling of reverence as they made their way to the tomb.

One thing i did like though was the visuals of the Cardinals deaths... they were almost exactly how i had imagined them when I read the book.

oh well

I wasn't too disappointed by it. My expectations weren't very high.

But other than that, I agree with the points you made.

i didn't read the book, but my cousin dragged me out to see the movie last week and i thought it was
