Magnum's are very good cars..I would Obviously recommend da Srt8 version..but if 426 HP is 2 much for you get da regular hemi..in da city it shuts off 4 ofits 8 cylinders for great gas mileage.

. Nico is great, but its one thing to read the tutorials and another to actually DIY. Some of these things are just confusing to me. Still trying to learn though.

Man, one day I want my car to look something like this. I think those rotas look nice as hell on an s13.

do you like it?
hows it ride?
and the year?

i only ask how it rides because ive yet to test drive one also, im only 19 so dont tell me to get the hemi..believe me if i could i would

im lookin into a sxt
please and thank you

I own an 07' Dodge Magnum SRT8 as my weekend driver, and so far I love it. I've owned Honda's, Toyotas, Jaguars, Infiniti, and Cadillac and theMagnum is the most useful car out of them all. It has plenty of seating and loads of cargo space to haul just about anything with the back seat folded down, and the storage organizer is amazing . The are battery plug-ins just about everywhere for electronics needs.
I've never driven an SXT, but the SRT8 drives like a sports car should...extremely responsive steering, and firm suspension. I'm sure that the SXT hasthe more yo-yo type ride that Amercian cars are know for. The SXT is all wheel drive and has a 250 HP V6 so at 19, you'll still have to watch it on thepedal.

Pros- great value, cargo space, parts available everywhere
Cons- plastic interior (but very easy to maintain)

14K would easily put you in a magnum R/T. 5.7 liter V8 Hemi with 340HP and MDS (4 cylinders under 65mph/8 cylinders over) like ninjahoodmentioned.
If you are going to put that much into the car then please get the most out of your purchase. The standard 18" alloys are a much better look than22's, but do
what makes you happy.

im also trying to get one with low miles on it so i can have it for a long time...ive been stuck with my intrepid for the past 3 years got it when it had81,000 and now have 121000 but thats also with a motor swap and we had no idea how many miles it had on it

magnum >> altima all day long..especially since you can getting equal/more power for a larger car.

and altimas WISH they could house 22 inch rims
laugh.gif

You boast about performance yet you wanna talk about 22's and automatic transmissions?

You don't know a damn thing about performance
laugh.gif
. if you did, you'd know that the magnum has the lousy and lazy e class transmission that isn't geared toward performance.

thats all I see. thats all i care about.

All he sees is HP numbers..

look the at the 0-60 times, quarter mile, etc..they're almost identical to the point that it would be a drivers race.

laugh.gif

Dude is talking about 22s and performance. 22s with performance tires does not equal performance there bud.
laugh.gif

Magnums and chargers = automatic. Thats enough said.

da SRT suspension and transmisson are beefed up for preformance.

and for ya yappin about automatic...da keyword is "autostick"

and SRT's come STANDARD wit 20's...so yes you can have big rims and be fast....something JDM cars aren'tused to hearing
laugh.gif
laugh.gif

why you talkin' about srt's when you clearly posted up specs of an r/t?

laugh.gif
@auto stick...true manual>

srt does the quarter in the low 14's btw..still slow
