This man is a fool for the second part of Subenstein
Leaving def jam is the best thing that happened to him from a creative stand point. This is the album he always wanted to make but they wouldn't give him the budget for it. Ironically 1999 is the type of song they wanted from him but he waited until he was gone to make it Piece of my love sample is always a win...gotta push that as a single.
Layup sound like some BTNH ****. Hope he can finesse a remix with them.
What Mannie Fresh did on My Sub IV is cold, he still got some heat in the tuck.
A 22 track double album with no real filler, that flows consistently and is sequenced flawlessly is a great feat...applaud him.
I can't get over how good the live instruments sound on here, just waiting on him to announce a tour now.
And CeeLo gotta put that gnarls Barkley/soul **** on pause for a min and start back rapping...he snapped.

Man...
So glad I'm rocking my Braves hat today. 'Lo went back to his MOb/Perfect Imperfections days.
Ya'll need to check his first solo albums if you haven't. Go listen to "Big Ole Words".
NOMake sure you guys check out Keyon Harrold's album "The Mugician". He has a track with K.R.I.T. on there that's really good, but the whole album is tight and a very easy listen.
Also check out Kenneth Whalum's album "Broken Land". There's a K.R.I.T. feature on there and he goes IN. Another really good album.
If you're really feeling this album, I don't doubt at all that you'll like these two as well.
Great album. Lyrically and the production everything is on point. Music for the black soul. This was well worth the wait, not one bad on it. Sad that bruh won't ever get his credit. He's the best artist in hip hop post 2010.
