***Official Breakfast Club Interview Thread***

:lol man if meek woulda came hard social media woulda been on his nuts too.

Remember when Kendrick dropped that control verse? Social media was all over it...memes for days. I guess it was his popularity and connections :lol everyone was saying he killed everybody. But y'all only mention social media when it's somebody y'all don't like. Then it's connections "white america" LOL etc

People forget too that meek BEEN getting roasted on social media. For The yelling especially. Please just let that man take his L

Yea I totally remember huge corporations like ESPN taking shots at all the guys Kendrick mentioned on control :rolleyes

Meek clowned himself. Yeah he was fighting an uphill battle, but this **** turned the gun on himself. Let's revisit some FACTS HERE.

1. Meek goes on the Twitter rant, upset that Drake doesn't tweet his album.

2. Meek "exposes" Drake by revealing Quentin Miller. He's feeling himself here. The ball is in Drake's court. Public perception is switched to Drake...and if ghost writing really matters. The general consensus is no. Meek may have lost favor at this time, but he's still fine social media wise.

3. Drake drops charged up. It's a lukewarm record....but has some slick lines it is. It's received social media wise as a strong diss...and people start lightly clowning meek. Now everybody is eager for Meek's response.

4. Instead of Meek responding with a track, he goes on another Twitter rant. Then says he's going to drop a track. He bluffs on dropping a track while everybody is waiting. He goes to Toronto, has the chance to say something...and drops absolutely no bars. 4 days go by. Meek is still touring and sending shots & threats of a diss record via social media.

5. Drake drops Back to Back. Full of meme worthy lines. A good diss track. This is after meek still has not dropped a record. The internet runs with it. Those who wanted to see meek win, are disappointed. Meek is STILL talking.

6. Meek drops a HORRIBLE diss track. Cringeworthy. With only about 45 seconds of rapping. After this, the memes take off. Back to Back becomes a hit. Drake runs with the memes. Meek is looking like a clown.

7. Meek stops tweeting, Deletes his diss record. Waiving the white flag. That dude had a chance to put up a valiant effort, he f'd up.

Meek lost because of social media, not because Aubrey's mediocre diss songs. They even hyped up Drake's diss song in to a club track.

Meek himself....deleted his own diss track.

That's how bad HE f'd up. Yes, it was an uphill battle. But Meek literally came to a battle with nothing. There's nothing there but a trail of tweets. Drake has two actual diss tracks aimed at Meek.....the guy who started the ****.

You can't win a battle with a deleted diss track.

That was to avoid a lawsuit.

Social media had definitely crowned Drake as soon as Charged Up drop. You can't clown Meek a day or two after that. He never even got a shot. I mean, some of Drake fans argued that Drake did the smart thing and it was cool that he got pissed on and didn't react. Meek never stood a chance and this is coming from someone that doesn't **** with either of their music.

Exactly and the radio stations got a cease and desist and couldn't play his track.

How are you the aggressor....The Philly street battle rapper, and you let a singing ***** drop TWO diss tracks before you drop a wack one?

Meanwhile, you still tweeting and bluffin on dropping a diss. When that man calls you Twitter fingers...you stop tweeting :lol. He hasn't tweeted since Aug 28th until last night.

Y'all can slice it anyway you want. Meek goofd. Of course Meek was fighting an uphill battle. Drake would've still probably been declared the winner....

But all Meek had to do was drop 1 or 2 good diss tracks...and he'd be viewed in a much better light. Instead, this ***** dropped "I wanna know".

Let me down.

How was Drake's diss tracks so much better than Meek's? What was Drake saying that was so ground breaking?

Getting peed on is worse than anything Drake said. Meek wasn't given a chance. I've talked to people about it and they were like wait, Drake got peed on? Which shows they didn't even listen to the song.

He literally rapped for 40 seconds. Instead of making bars about Drake supposedly getting peed on, he just says...I heard you got peed on. This rap. You have to....RAP

If you think Meek Rapping about his Platinum Rollie and Platninum chick....then playing a reference track is on par with "charged up" or "back to back" (you know, actually rapping) then you aren't simply looking at this objectively.

I wanted this ***** Meek to win mane. One of the worst let downs in a long time :lol :{

That's Meek's fault for casually mentioning it (as opposed to dropping bars on it) and not making it super clear that it was aimed at Drake (no pun).

That should have been his opening damn line on some 2015 "first off **** your ***** in the **** you claim".

Meek should have started the beef on a rap as opposed to Twitter, first off.

But even after Charged Up, Meek would have still been straight if he dropped Wanna Know anywhere from that Sunday to Monday.

Once he let Back To Back come out, he was cooked. He waited too long and was on social media talking **** instead of just dropping a damn record.

And to top it all off, Wanna Know was a mediocre love tap when Drake was going for his jugular. He had probably less than 30 seconds of rapping about Drake.

People wanted to see Meek win because Drake has had no dents in his armor in the half decade he's been on top and people love to see a train wreck. But Meek just fumbled.

I'm not understanding anyone defending the trash Meek put forth.

In my 30 years of existence, I've never heard a more trash diss record. I don't have a dog in the fight but let's be real. The 5 great lines Drake had >>> the dumpster fire Meek put out

****** refuse to admit defeat.

I am not at all a drake Stan and even i can admit that he won. Even if you think back to back was trash...there's no way in hell you can believe it was more trash than meek's record.

Again...on music alone...drake was the victor.

The best diss tracks provide facts, some slight comedy, and are convincing, all 3 of which Drake had. Even though neither one of their disses were great, Meek Mill - supposedly this raw battle rapper - came at a guy who basically is an R&B singer in a lazy way. Also, people probably didn't know Drake was pee'd on since that was something the Meek just randomly mentioned while talking on the track. He barely drew attention to it himself, so how would other people even hear it :lol he said it like it wasn't that relevant to the beef. Say what you want about the Sauce Twinz, but that's how you go after somebody. And all that doesn't even include that Meek Mill waited what amounted to an eternity in internet years to drop that diss. Dude played himself badly.

I don't think Meek won, and I don't think anyone would say that. Overall it was one wack battle from both sides.

It wasn't Meek's fault. Social media determined who won from the beginning. They picked who they wanted to win in the beginning. Then they started repeating mediocre bars like, is it a world tour or your girls tour. Ooooooooooo

And everyone ran with it. To the point the Meek and Drake battle became pop culture with a lot of corny jokes and references made about it. Notice how Drake highlighted the memes in his concert, because they were better than anything he said.

I swear rap is being dictated by women and 14 year olds now. It's as if people actually forgot what a battle is. It was corny from both sides.

The term best diss tracks and Drake's name shouldn't be mentioned in the same sentence.

Both of his diss tracks were wack.

Magic33 Magic33 will pick and respond to what he wants.

Nothing wrong with admitting you're wrong man. Lol

What am I wrong about?

Wrong that you dudes let social media dictate what to like and not like in 2015?

Wrong that Drake gave two wack diss songs that got hyped up to the point people think he actually said something?

You the battle rapper and your sister and cousin out rap you in a battle you started and they aren't even rappers.
