Hows the new system?

And MONDAY, what you got on deck?
Right now, nothing. half of the dash is chillin' in the backseat. saving up for a ssa xcon & sundown 3000. i do have id xs 65 and aalpine 4.150. gonna bridge it so they'll get 300 each.

Still need an alt, 2 new batteries, second skin, and a *@@! load of wiring.

I'm thinking bout building a new box for my setup this summer, anyone have good box specs and optimum tuning frequency for a 12" sony xplod(don'tjudge me, I have knowledge of other stuff, but I have no $$$$$ to pay for it)?

55 bucks. can't go wrong

Honestly it wasn't NEARLY as bad as I thought it was gonna be, all the stuff I've been hearing I thought it was just gonna fart and do nothing else, Ihave been lookin at CVRs as my next sub(they can be had off ebay for 70 shipped). I've had my xplod for 2 years and have played VERY low frequencies thoughit for an exteneded amount of time and its still alive and well.

ina very small(possibly 1 cu ft at the most) leaky sealed box, it doesn't even have a terminal cup so I have to stuff a shirt in that hole, ghetto I knowlol

I'm currently running 2-10's with a 500w amp in a sealed box.

I want to upgrade to Oz Audio/SPL/Boston Acoustics/or Eclipse w/ a 1000w-1200w amp.

Nothing too major, just for my daily car (Nissan Sentra)

Anybody have any suggestions?

I've heard the 12" version of these in a ported box...

I might go with Alpine Type-R or RF P3 in a sealed box.

I like the way sealed sounds.

Ported is more for the deeper/heavier bass.

I like some bass, but nothing too major. So, sealed is fine to me (More accurate bass lines.)

. (pause)
did u sound deaden the doors? do the big 3?
the two front doors are done, as well as the trunk.

kickers are great

currently I have a single kicker L7 powered by a rockford 1001 BD
that amp is tooo strong for that speaker. EVEN though that 1 12'' hits hard

im about to upgrade to 1 15'' and call it a day.

I need to get new door speakers and tweeters though and find a decent amp
