Official FIFA Soccer 15 Thread

^You'll be able to get it on the PS Store at midnight if you wanted it then, pretty sure you can pre download it a couple days before so once midnight comes around on release day you can play it right away. Assuming you don't mind not having the actual disc of course.

naw im against digital copies. im already down to 80gbs on my HD

I think with a game like this it's better to own the disc because you can sell it before copping next years edition. Not sure how much gamestop buys it back for, but it'll save you a few bucks every year.

Will be coppin on release date. Loving the demo. Able to hold the ball more and move with it. Add me ps4: Moaterboater90

Anyone have an idea of why I haven't been able to find the demo in the ps store?

Dude I was playing the demo with my little brother a couple hours ago. We could not score. These goalkeepers are insane  And I was playing with Barca. Pretty sure it was on Professional too.

Looks exactly like 14 tho.

First match. Scored on my first free kick in the 8th min :pimp:

Edit: 2 FKs in 2 matches now woop

I am absolutely flabbergasted that the web app has not released yet.
This. I was excited to build my FUT 15 team already by now...oh whales.

Any NTers wanna try this FUT trading method of listing overpriced TOTW cards? Picked it up from the EA forums since I lurk there for FUT purposes.

Did it from Jan-May and made 2.5 Million FUT coins, all profit. Usually I spend about an hour a day trading so it does take a little effort, patience and A LOT of luck. Since we are in different time zones then Europe we are able to scoop up some players for cheap when they are sleeping. The thing is we have to list our players during Europe's peak hours so there's a higher chance people over there buy our players.

I'll go into deeper details when the game comes out and if anyone is familiar with this method feel free to chime in. It was called "JP's Trading Method" on the EA forums. If you are an impatient person this wont be a method for you. Let's make this money though. I wanna see all of NT eat :pimp:

I think I am going to spend the 5 bones to do the early access. Sucks that you can only play it for 6 hours though :stone

Can never make FKs. :smh:

The main thing you wanna do is hold up on the left stick to get the ball to dip, and choose the right player depending on the distance (power or placement) and side (lefty or righty depending on who you have that can hit it.) Sometimes it's just one specialist per team, sometimes like with Barca you can pick between Messi (right side,) Suarez (left side,) and Xavi for super close ones that you want to hit with curve and dip but not power.

Google'd what the web app was all about.... Ultimate team ****..... PASSSSSS

I downloaded the demo on PS3 and it's generally much better than 14.

Apparently they fixed the slide tackle (every single tackle that connects is no longer ruled a foul); the physical play is much less jerky/random and a lot more precise. The dribbling is excellent: skill moves are no longer necessary to beat the defender; instead, you can create space by using body feints and quick changes in direction (which reminds me a lot of the player controls in the older PES games).

The CPU feels much better to play against. On offense, the attackers now use a variety of strategies to create shots: there's the usual wing play, but they'll also take more chances from outside the box. Defensively, they'll play coverage in front of a skilled attacker: I was playing with Barca and as soon as I got close to the goal with Messi, I was surprised to see the defender back off in order to keep the shape of the backline; in FIFA 14, the defender would have tried to pressure Messi into giving up the ball. The bigger players won't hesitate to use their physique to provoke challenges though.

Regarding the negatives, I think there will still be a bit of 45/90 min scripting as I scored (and got scored on) during stoppage time a few times.
Another minus is the fact that aerial balls are still contested by a maximum of 2 opposite players; while it is fine in the midfield, it's too obvious on free kicks and corner kicks where aerial battles can involve 3 guys and more.
