Yeah but what if he went through a 300 year history of House Lannister and they were never not the dominant gene? Something has to give. So far everybody in their family has blonde hair bar none.Yeah, that's why I don't agree that Ned or Arryn were on their Sherlock. Could just be possible that Lannister's genes are more dominant than a Baratheon but hey I don't even remember taking biology.Im sure it has to do with the dominant/recessive gene.
I hated it in biology and I still do now.
Don't eem care.
Hated it too that's why I asked
Cuz talk like that reminds me of the Maury show. "That kid can't be mine! All my children got wavy hair Maury!" or "All I have are sons!" or "All my kids never cry Maury!"
That's true but as he went through the 300 year history of House Baratheon, they were never not the dominant gene. Every time a Baratheon man married into another house, all of their children had black hair. To the two of them, that wasn't just a coincedence.
Yeah, that's why I've been wondering about the other kids but the books like the show make it clear all of them are Jaime's.I hear ya. He wasn't even focused on that part of the equation I guess, just blinded by what happened to Jon and how he feels towards the Lannisters.
You're right, I'm thinking through every Lannister I can and all of them have the blond hair.
That's just a lie/rumor spread to deter the act of incest. There are deformed/mentally defective children born everyday and they're not a product of incest. Stuff like that just happens due to other reasons not cuz of incest necessarily (there are exceptions like hereditary diseases and what not).how could all of three of Jaimee and Cercis' children be normal {use it lightly when referring to Joffrey}. I thought children born of incest were born deformed/defective in some way.
She was at the inn because she was on the way back to Winterfell after meeting Ned in KL. Her plan was to hold Tyrion at the Vale and make him pay for his crimes.
You also have to consider she probably thought that was her only chance. Surrounded by her father's bannerman, the man she thought was responsible for the attempt on her son was there with only a few guards... no better time to arrest him.
Yea. They were trying to stay hidden and not be seen but once Tyrion recognized her and asked her what she was doing outside of Winterfell, her choice was made for her. Basically started the whole war
Incest can greatly increase the risk of getting a recessive trait/disease but it's not a 100% thing, of course. It can be substantial, however, increasing risk by orders of magnitude in some cases.how could all of three of Jaimee and Cercis' children be normal {use it lightly when referring to Joffrey}. I thought children born of incest were born deformed/defective in some way.

Are you saying that was her plan all along, or b/c they were all at the inn she decided to take the opportunity? Because it was common knowledge that Tyrion went to the wall with Snow and the others.

I get that, but I'm wondering if she, Ned, and Littlefinger were done with their investigation of Tyrion. All they had was the blade, which still is not enough to hold him on. I just feel she jumped the gun, and their was another plan in place. What? I don't know, which is irritating me

I don't know man, even if she let him go to Kings Landing it's not like she was letting him get away, because the Lannisters didn't know she or Ned suspected them of trying to kill Bran. If she would have made it back to Winterfell, Bran could have told her what he saw then Ned could have killed two birds with one stone. Everything Kat touched got ****** up from that point.

"Half the Targaryens went mad didn't they? What's the saying? Every time a Targaryen is born the gods flip a coin."
It wasn't her plan all along. Her and Rodrik were at the inn and she was planning on either going to Riverrun, the Vale or keep going to Winterfell. When Tyrion arrived with Yoren, they both tried to stay hidden so they wouldn't be recognized. Once he recognized her she took action. Was never her plan to take him at the inn. Once Cat had Tyrion, she thought the best course of action was the Vale. Bran didn't know what he saw so Idk if that would have had any impact on her decisions. If she would have let him keep going to King's Landing, then Ned would have been forced to try and deal with the situation in an unfriendly place. Cat took that out of his hands by taking him hostage with her father's bannerman in her father's/sister's land.
Like whywesteppin said, not necessarily, but Cersei was quoted as saying
So deformity wasn't necessarily occurring, but madness or cruel/sadistic personalities were in this universe.
aepps: The Theon Greyjoy speech from S2 is up there for me also.
Son was on his Gladiator.
Drogo's speech was epic, too bad he didn't get to act on it. Same goes for Theon, such a waste of a great speech cause his homies just turned on himMost def, that speech was epic. I usually get pumped with Drogo's speech though. Dude went ham.
What is dead may never die!
And that's why Theon can't get his penis reattached. We do not sow!

I just finished watching them. Don't watch the last 5-8 minutes of Part 2 if you don't want to find the likely answer of who Jon's mother was.
The Lannister one was good. Shows Jaime in a new light and why he is the way he is now.

Has it been confirmed in the books yet?
