Cuz the second he annulled his marriage to the Martell wife (somebody explain to me how you annul a marriage with a chick you had kids with in that period) his 2 children became bastards that inherit nothing. So its basically like his son's name wasn't even Aegon. Then Jon basically becomes his legal first born son, named Aegon.
