Because his other son is technically a bastard now according to game of thrones world/law. He would want his heir to be named Aegon like his father and their fathers before them to continue the name.

Cuz the second he annulled his marriage to the Martell wife (somebody explain to me how you annul a marriage with a chick you had kids with in that period) his 2 children became bastards that inherit nothing. So its basically like his son's name wasn't even Aegon. Then Jon basically becomes his legal first born son, named Aegon.
