The way the writers set it up, he really is. Dude is an omnipotent being who let everyone murder/betray each other and allowed the deaths of a million people, just so he could casually get the throne without breaking a sweat

Had they told this same story, but had an additional season with episodes as Dany as the Queen showing her making more decisions that further prove she is not the right person for the realm, with Jon struggling with what he is seeing, eventually leading him down to the moment where he feels it's necessary he kills her then I'd be with it.
They could've done a way better job getting to this point with an additional season or even 2.

I do agree with this.
Crazy to me that, today in this climate, they took the show from being almost a study of women in power (some good, some bad) to straight up saying 'Only a man with a penis can rule.'
And then going on to make both Cersei and Dany crazy with limited groundwork (in Dany's case).
I'm surprised there isn't more sexism outrage.

at you saying Robert Baratheon was a good king for the smallfolk of KL and Westeros, life for the average smallfolk during Robert's reign was horrible pretty much equating to serfdom during Feudalism. Robert Baratheon had the crown so far indebted to the Lannisters to the point where House Lannister was pretty much already the most powerful house over Baratheon at the time. In this world nobody highborn really cares that much for the lives of the smallfolk and their lives are cheap. The only possible King and Queen combination that the smallfolk would've loved were Renly and Margaery. You seen how they laughed off the mere suggestion of a democratic system, all the major and secondary houses of Westeros gives 0 ****s about the smallfolk
