OFFICIAL Green Bay Packers 2010 Season Thread - SUPER BOWL XLV!!! Vs. Pittsburgh.

Havent been in this thread at all lol....but i think we can go 3-1 over the next 4...that loss has to be to new england tho, cant be the lions, giants or bears to beat us. That could hurt. When we go to the pats i think it will be a very close game that we will have a chance to win, kinda like the atl game.

The passing game needs to take advantage in that new England game. A big game from a running back would help. Starks looks promising but who knows. We just need to keep their short passing game in check though. They get that passing game in rhythm I don't think we can win. So we need to get out early. Force them to make the mistakes. Not sit back with a lead and play keep away. They are best at that.

i like are matchups with new england though

woodson on welker
tramon on tate or whoever

the only one i dont like is their TE hernandez...he'll burn us...hopefully collins is matched up with him and not our LB's...we'll see
and home field obviously

but we are getting ahead of ourselves ... detroit is no slouch...and we are for sure without cullen and maybe even chuck

^ if we dont beat detroit, we dont desreve to make the playoffs, its that simple. At this point of the season, and the way we r playing we should go in there and let them know early that they cant beat us.

new england has given up the most yds in the nfl.........plus i can't recall them playing a team with an offense as good as green bay

side not: how sick would an aaron rodgers mic'd up be?
Packing the Stats: Green Bay’s Scoring Stats and Slow Starts
Posted in 2010, 2010 Regular Season, Chad Toporski, Defense, Mike McCarthy, Offense, Stats by Chad Toporski

In their Week 13 game against the San Francisco 49ers, the Green Bay Packers were clearly favored to win the match-up. Not only were they playing at Lambeau Field (the first time since playing the Dallas Cowboys before the bye week), they were also facing a team whose mere four wins came against opponents currently boasting no better than a .500 record.

Perhaps that’s the reason, then, why fans were a bit frustrated after the first quarter of play.

Here were the Green Bay Packers – an offensive powerhouse and a defensive machine – down by two fields goals and with zero points to show for their efforts against the 49ers?

“Mike McCarthy’s teams always start slow,
