Leafs Most Valuable NHL Team
By TheScore.com

The Toronto Maple Leafs have not won a playoff series since 2004, but they are still the most valuable team in the NHL and - according to Forbes - they're getting richer.
Toronto's value increased 15 percent to $1.15 billion, while other Canadian teams posted significant gains. The Montreal Canadiens ($775 million) and Vancouver Canucks ($700 million) were both among the top five most valuable teams, while all four of Canada's remaining teams ranked among the top 16.
Forbes values the Winnipeg Jets at $340 million - double what ownership paid to relocate the struggling franchise from Atlanta two years ago.
The New York Rangers ($850 million), Chicago Blackhawks ($625 million) and Boston Bruins ($600 million) are the top American markets, followed by the Philadelphia Flyers ($500 million), Pittsburgh Penguins ($480 million), Detroit Red Wings ($470 million) and Los Angeles Kings ($450 million).
Overall, the average NHL team is worth $413 million, up 46% from a year ago. Operating income averaged $7 million - its second-highest level since 1997-98 - during the lockout-shortened 2012-13 season.
The Columbus Blue Jackets are at the bottom of the league with a franchise valued at just $175 million. The St. Louis Blues - considered by many to be Stanley Cup contenders this season - are only worth $10 million more.

Had to figure the SS logos were going to be involved in the jersey somehow. Want to see what the Senators have in store for the Heritage Classic. Reveal is tomorrow.

As long as they never go back to these:

700

You think? I used to HATE those when I was growing up, I couldn't watch their games against the Devils for more than a period :lol

Maybe without the mascot.

They're a lot better to me than people give it credit for. Not nearly as bad as the Wild Wing or Burger King jerseys.

Those Kings jerseys

My coworker, whose a huge Kings fan, told me the story about the jersey. The graphic designer who they hired was fresh out of college at the time, and the logo originally had grey hair but at the time, the team was older and the front office didn't want the players to feel self conscious about their age because of the jersey so they went with purple.

wings are just too much tonight...the passing :eek

very strong on their sticks as well...we can't get any second chances off. total dominance.

Flames lost, but Moneyhands scored!

I thought that was an action figure of Tavares for a second

If Weiss didn't have such a huge cap hit going forward, I would say trade him for Erat, straight up.
