I honestly can't believe these idiots left Bobby off the team. No use for the 2nd best goal scorer available? It's no wonder Nashville can't find any offense. Poile wouldn't know a goal scorer if he got **** slapped in the face. I normally don't wish injuries on players, but **** it. I wouldn't mind if Dustin Brown gets hurt and has to miss the Olympics. He should have been nowhere near this team to begin with as bad as he's been this year.

On defense they were almost perfect IMO. Would have taken EJ over Orpik, but that seemed to have Bylsma written all over it. Yandle and Buff are both terrible defensively and would have effectively been PP specialists. Problem is the points on the PP are already covered with Pavelski-Suter and Shattenkirk/Carlson-Fowler.

Hopefully Miller is starting in the net.

Call me bias, but Bobby not being on the TEAM USA is insane. I see him play every game since being in Ottawa and he is on a tear despite our hardship this season.
He can score at will and the US don't want him? C'mon.... guys respect him and put him on a second scoring line with two playmakers and TEAM USA will be that much more dangerous.

I am disappointed Bobby's not there as well since he's a local guy and he's a very good offensive player but I can see the rationale I guess...wheeler can skate and is a big presence and Oshie is predicated on speed as well, plus the familiarity with Backes. But man, that may bite them

Orpik is an absolute joke imo Buff is having a really solid season too...I'm just glad jack johnson is not on this roster I was nervous for a second when they announced after the game "like how'd they leave Kessel off the squad?!"

That defense doesn't give me a lot of confidence though...fowler is good but he's really young, Carlson I like, but Justin Braun should've been on the team and Buff, as well as Yandle imo...Braun is a shutdown dman and to could easily shelter Yandle and give him high offensive zone starts.

I always feel weird come Olympics, have to root against Giroux and previously Mike Richards...but after all that I want revenge against Canada this go round.

Oh and did any of you see the story about USA HOCKEY contacting Kessler? Apparently he had a new number and they called some 67 yr old in Vancouver telling him to be ready

True, that makes sense...I also forgot about Okposo, think he has a gripe as well about not being named he's having a great year and from the article dude didn't even get considered...but Ryan Callahan is on the team? He's been hurt most of this season hasn't he? I know he's a good pk man but still his offensive rates aren't anything to be impressed with. We better pray to the heavens Ryan Suter doesn't get injured bc he's gonna log a lot of time for us at the point and if he goes down we will be shredded

Also I think Poile having ultimate power and excluding goal scorers is laughable given the Nashville lineup
