OFFICIAL HOCKEY THREAD: NHL, KHL, NCAA, IIHL

Re-watched Thor last night.

Love me some Natalie Portman.

I am looking to go to one of the Yankee stadium games. Based on how rank is configured, what sections do you guys think would be the best? Any thoughts are much appreciated.

You gonna get em through Stubhub?

Best bang for your buck (going off what they have available) would be 128-130, 227-229, 126, 110-111 and anywhere behind home plate.

TBH, I'm not sure how great the view is going to be from the 300's or 400's. But, that's where you'll get the cheapest seats.

just got invited to the sharks game tonight with a couple of friends. they had an extra ticket for a suite that popped up. can't wait :hat

Ducks looking to bounce back from a rare home loss to Winnipeg. Honda Center is a fortress. Getzlaf out for blood.

Always wanted to experience a game from a suite.

Not missing much tbh except for free food and beer. Went to Lakers/Nets last year in Nike's suite.

yeah atmosphere-wise, it kinda sucks depending on the set up and who's there with you. if it's 18 of your good friends and they're all into hockey, it kicks ***. but usually there's always some suits and people who don't even know what a puck is. kinda kills the atmosphere with them all chatting it up about god knows what behind you.

would rather be first row balcony than a suite any day of the week. but once in a while it's cool to get free food and drinks :lol

thanks, champ :hat

Suite would be cool for a regular season tilt from what you guys are saying.

But yea, 2nd bowl for playoffs > *

How much were B's playoff tickets looking last year in the upper level?

4-game home stand for your Canucks. I think they split. Beat Nashville and Edmonton heading into that 5-game road swing.

Yea, spilt would be nice, maybe 3 of 4 as Phoenix hasnt been lighting it up recently.

That Chicago game could get ugly, though.

Crawford has let up 2 or more goals in his last 8 games. Chicago 2-6 in that span. Of course the Hawks offense is always liable to go off for 5 goals.

if memory serves me correctly, $150 would be a bargain. likely in the $175 to $225 range though.

second hand market was over $300 :x

Putting too much on his back and should have kept going with Antti Raanta who was the hot hand.

I'm headed to the Blues/Rangers game tonight.

EDIT: Also, I have four comped SS NY tickets to the Islanders game next Wednesday. I'm working that night since some of the team will be at Yankee Stadium as fans. If my brother and father don't want them, I'll let you guys who are interested in going know.

Even StubHub won't save us.

Keep me posted, Rell.

Blues coming off an embarrassing loss to the Devils. Elliott and Halak both lit up. STL lost 4 of their last 6.

No doubt. League sent out the FedEx today so I'll know what's up by Saturday.

Unrelated. What do you guys think about getting your own jersey with name and number? Lame or do you?

Last name.
I would do it. The risk of being corny is outweighed by the longevity. Players can be traded, let go but you'll always be a fan of your hockey (sports) team(s).
True. True.

I had a Canucks one my uncle did up for me when I was like 6or 7. Wore that thing until it fell apart/got too small.

Never thought about doing it again, but now that youve brought it up, I think itd be a cool idea.

i've got a bruins one with my last name. don't think it's corny at all. name and favorite number :hat

Grabbed a ticket to the NYR-NJD Stadium Series game this weekend for half off face value. My going away present for myself before I move to Florida for a few years :hat
