im bout to buy a soapbox so ppl will listen when i say the NHL has NEEDED olympic size rinks for years...
the pundits keep saying that more open ice leads to more speed which leads to more concussions but the numbers certaintly dont agree but then ppl r jus so quick to say the NHL is more physical than other leagues (which it is) but the bigger rink can only help i think... also shifts need to be longer, im sick of dudes flyin around like missles for 30 seconds atta time n dumpin n chasin...

Girouxs a good buddy of mine, we live in the same condo when hes back home here in Ottawa and is a frequent of my bar, i spoke to him on BBM and he said he's going to be out til after all-star cause he doesnt want to risk it like Corsby. THIS COULD CHANGE but not likely.
Flyer Fans: Prongers the biggest Ahole youll ever meet...even to his teammates. This is coming from my best friend who was drafted in ANA when he was there and now plays for the Sens.
I was with Michalek on saturday night, he celebrated his bday and so all the boys came in and their wives and it was a gongshow... he said his knee was the best its ever felt but this whole concussion thing is CRAZY. Karlsson feels like garbage but it was a freak accident.. nobodies fault...Also, when you see Karlsson mess up while bringing up the puck aka give it away or not make a good play, he doesnt care...lol... he goes back to the bench nonchalent cause he knows hell make up for it with an unreal play. haha Also, Brian Lee - high school pick, is garbage and shouldnt even be in the show. Alot of the guys dont like him cause hes a little rat outside of the rink.

Concussions are an epidemic now. What the hell is going on?! G's one was just a fluke because he fell down and Wayne was trying to jump over him. Don't know much about the Pronger situation.
I saw the Rangers vs. Flyers HBO show yesterday and I started crying when Callahan met his grandmother after the game. It was so heartfelt and genuine. That is what a family is all about. I even voted for her on NHL.com!
Bruins have been winning but playing sloppy. They're lucky they played two mediocre teams and Z is not in the lineup.

Paul Bissonnette aka Biznasty and Dan Carcillo... when Giroux has his annual golf tourny, all the flyer boys come to Ottawa and Carcillo calls me first thing for drugs... ahahahah

I don't think losing Pronger hurts the Flyers at all; he hasn't done anything since the 1st half of last season and I will love the $4.9 million we can now spend on another D from a trade

Ohhh yah..Karlssons my guy and all but he is just unreal on the ice, especially tonight against the Pens... he was moving the puck and his skating seemed to be on. I saw him play at the JRs in 08 and he still dominated. He's skinny as hell and they want him to bulk up 20-25lbs.
Team Canada Jrs...this is going to be NUTS. US programs are crazy now - looking like Canadian jr programs.
I'm in awe that my boy Tyler Toffolli didnt make it...

Wow, I didn't think they'd fire the coach. Most people say the GM needs to be fired and I agree, that Kaberle trade was awful
On the other hand, I am pumped for tonight. Selanne returning to Winnipeg, and I'm going to the game with a buddy. It's amazing, he only played here 3 1/2 seasons but he's still one of the most popular athletes in the city.

Although, this is innocent enough.......reason why Del Zotto spent time in the minors is because of Wade Redden. I'm sure THBK can back up that statement.
