Were you guys expecting a different ending?

Quinn should've been dead if we being honest

Dar and his conspirators ending up in prison or dead, President elect being a **** president, etc.

I don't feel bad about all those agency dept ppl being arrested.

If you focus on the issue (which can be applied to the real world) they disagreed but she is wrong.

Plus she's alienating the entire intelligence community cuz she's super paranoid. That first part is real life  :smh:

You must be outta yo God Damn mind! That season single handily saved the show. Great finale too, sucks Peter had to go out like that, but it was inevitable.

Nah, this season sucked. It started off like any other terrorist show with a radical dude, but then it headed in a totally different direction, which I thought may be interesting. I understand the whole manufacturing of news and I can get down with people in the govt trying to off the president, but it just seemed unsuspensful and boring. Quinn post coma was just sad too. Not even excited about season 7 or 8. I can understand Carrie being on the outs because she always finds a way back in. But Saul locked up? Dad done for? Show is gasping for air.

Another message this sort of sent was a female President would be horrible for this country if you were to take some things out of context and put them in another.

Strange angle to go.

Damn.. Dar was right.

Shame Quinn had to go, but after his stroke he was kind of useless.. still remember that season when he went in on the Embassy

After everything Carrie has done that's ridiculous, President Russia didn't get her Frannie back. She literally saved her from bullets and explosions.

Show disappointed me some. It was way too much thrown in. Then the random advancing six months.

It left a lot of plot holes and some of the stuff didn't make logical sense.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing.

And how she handled certain situations like the protesters. I was wondering if she could make the tough decisions.

IMO they portrayed her as being more emotional and not as strong as presidents are normally shown.

You know what my issue was with the finale, they crafted up a nicely woven story where McClendon and his crew were always 10 steps ahead. The final showdown just fell really flat. It's as if they sent in the JV team in the Finale. That wasn't the same team that was pulling off everything we saw in the first 11 episodes.

On top of that there are just so many unanswered questions. I know we can infer what happened but they should have tied it up onscreen. What happened to the troll basement? Why wasn't O'Keefe arrested? Why did Max relapse? Most importantly Quinn deserved a better send off then some ******* pictures.

Cray ending...  They had to fit so much in into that hour.  But damn, Dar's instincts!

And RIP Quinn... but it was inevitable.  At least he sorta went down as a hero... dunno if Keane treated him as such though.

But yeah, there were a few things I wished they would have addressed... like General T-Bag's involvement, which I'm sure went higher up.   And how the hell did Saul survive that?!  Both vehicles were up in flames!   And Max... wish they would have addressed how he ended back up like that.  Also, Frannie being in custody for +6 weeks?!  Keane didn't, once, offer to help?

Now the question is, what's next?  I don't remember if it's been confirmed, but surely we're gonna get a season 7?

It's interesting reading that article Magic1978 posted about fake news and how the writers were working on this as Trump won the election and became prez.  I wonder how much of that influenced specific events in this season.

Anyway, despite some of the things I wished they had addressed, I still enjoyed this season.

There's a line where she asks Saul did the American ppl make a mistake and he says no.

A better response would've been "If they did, it wasn't the first time and it won't be the last."

I can understand how she's letting paranoia make her go on this witch hunt but I can already see what happens next season. She arrests or fires all the experts and that leaves America open for numoerous attacks and probably something big like the Brody and CIA attack. Which ends with her being impeached or not winning a 2nd term.

I don't think they were 11 steps ahead. That's assuming you're racing against the clock or have an opponent. They were just organized and nobody knew what the **** they were doing until they were half way done.

I was expecting a Peter Quinn memorial statue or big slab of marble.

I assumed Max is just an alcoholic/drug addict that falls off the wagon when anybody he knows dies.

next season carrie is on homeland: oitnb

quinn shoulda just honked the horn from jump

what happened to hill harper did he get blown up?

how do we know keane aint set up her own assassination attempt?

she looked mighty smug at the end like they all underestimated her and she played them and got full power of authority

wonder if carrie can get saul out of prison

Harper's character is dead.

That next question is mighty dumb. Nothing in the show even hinted at her setting up her own assassination. You not doing conspiracy theorizing right man :lol

The guys that were looking to kill her got off the phone with T-Bag who told them to eliminate her. T-Bag is then in contact with the soldiers outside telling them to open fire on Quinn in the car.

Not to mention if Keane planned this she didn't plan how she would survive it given she didn't know Quinn and didn't expect Carrie to be there. She would've died in the explosion if Carrie didn't show up.

No. There's a season 8 :smh:

Gotta say. I felt the show fell off pretty quick after Brody died but stuck with it to see it give me crazy entertainment with Saul having a temper tantrum with a bomb on a tarmac runway for that exchange but **** is really hitting rock bottom now with what they're trying to tap in to.

This is becoming one of the more sadder Showtime shows that go on for too long.

That trailer was a bit surreal cuz its really parodying what's going on now. Aping the situation and taking it too far. We fighting homegrown terrorists now?

At least make it the actual white supremacists. Not this we hate the woman president what if Hilary was president future scenario.

With all that said I'll give the premiere a watch cuz I love me some Claire and Saul is still my mans.
