That time period was his peak IMO as a rapper. Kanye been trash for years now. Don't wanna hear none of those excuses "oh he's more than a rapper" at the end of day he's still rapping on these songs and his bars are trash.

I'm amused by the amount of people that have been mentioning 4:44 being platinum already though. When it happened I was like, "Will this really matter? It isn't like this album wasn't going to go platinum, presale or not." But it's definitely a talking point around the project.

Really didn't even expect anything less. Sell a million to his buisness partner (Sprint), let them foot the bill and generate even more hype for the album... then open the flood gates and drop it on all platforms (streaming and in stores). Hov, man.
