Trust me I was looking into getting a 350z but the fact that every where I turn a 350z is seen, way too common of a car.

I want to overhaul the engine and maybe the ******.

A couple people have told me that it's cheaper to buy an engine in Arizona or even Nevada?

It's a '99 btw.

Wouldn't it be better to just get the engine you want built? Cheaper too. Thats if Im not mistaken.

Triple5- I would suggest getting several kill switches, a loud alarm with a backup battery, wheel boots, removable steering wheel, shifter lock, and several pitbulls

. Multiple layers of security is key. It will either take them longer to take it or just frustrate them and make them give up. When you drive home always take different routes to make sure nobody follows you home or knows your routine. Block it in with several cars behind when parking at your house. If they really want it, they'll catch you slippin and tow it away.

Many car companies have a history that dates back almost to the beginnings of the car itself, but none (that I know of, anyway) actually keep a garage with many classic examples of cars that made a company what it is today. Well, except for Nissan.

While you may know where it’s located, or have seen pictures of it, it’s highly unlikely that you’ll ever get to see the inside of this famed garaged. Only employees of Nissan are allowed inside, and even then, it’s difficult to get a pass. If you are an employee, and you don’t know about it, you’ll most likely never get inside, because Nissan doesn’t advertise the fact that there is a garage that holds some of Nissan’s most iconic cars. From stock production cars, concepts, limited runs and race cars, there is history inside the walls of the DNA garage.

Recently, one of NICO club’s moderators, Cannan Manley (Promise Land), spent some time in Japan. He works for Nissan in the U.S. and was here working on a project with Nissan Japan. When he contacted me a few months ago about what to do here in Japan, I put a bug in his ear and asked if he could find out about getting us into the DNA garage. Unfortunately, I wasn’t allowed, but, since he was a Nissan employee, he was.

So, Caanan and a few others got 30 minutes inside the garage with a camera. Whether or not they got photos of all the cars, I can’t say. I don’t know how big the place is or how many cars there are, but I do know that there are some beautiful cars in there. (I saw the pictures…and you will too!)

A few cars to keep your eyes open for are as follows:

S30 Fairlady Z (240Z) Ralley Car
R33 GT-R LM
Mid-4
PGC10 GT-R (4 door sedan)
A race version KPGC110 Ken & Mary GT-R
R390 Road car
Z32 Fairlady Z (300ZX), which I believe was the last production Z that rolled off the line.

Enjoy the pics and enjoy taking a trip back in time.

Triple5, like nyrican23 said it's all about layers. The longer it takes a thief to take your car the better the chances that he'll move on to an easier target. There's a lot of Security info on Honda-Tech and Cause for Alarm. When I was doing research on getting a Honda I was considering getting kill switches, stealth alarm (with 2 piezo sirens, tilt sensor, glass break sensor, and back-up battery), Escort Entourage GPS tracker, TireLock wheel lock (atleast 2 with 1 covering the lug nuts), removable steering wheel, and clutch lock. If you're planning on leaving it in a garage I've heard of people leaving a baby monitor in there. If you're leaving it in a driveway you can get a Driveway Patrol Sensor and Receiver Kit, it has a motion sensor and chimes when someone or a tow-truck comes into your driveway.
