Can you be more specific on why you think there tanks? I think there a great performance shoe. When I think of tanks the 8, 9, 11, 23, 32 come to mind.

What is the definition of tanks? I thought it meant they last a long time without falling apart.
I guess it can also mean they're big and clunky-feeling if you're trying to play sports.

My OG Playoffs are still intact apart from the side tabs which have cracked and fallen off a bit. Other than that all parts of the shoe are still well stuck together with no signs of falling apart, and the sole hasn't crumbled like how 4s do.
