Good Win Tonight , we had our iffy moments but for the most part a very excellent TEAM win. Everyone was very unselfish tonight.
Loved it.

Saw this on another thread about Kobe's 81.

Damn. It's been 5 years?!

I distinctly remember one of the guys here on NT commemorated this game on his sig. It was something like "January 22, 2006: The night Kobe Bryant and Kwame Brown combined for 83 points."

Very entertaining game tonight.

I think Stu Lantz saying Ron is the x-factor not only to the game, but to the rest of the season was interesting.

He went off tonight, 19 points

ron is best on offense when he works just like all coaches recommend --- practice your warmup shots from close to the basket then move further away. can't stand when his first shot is a three. for a rough and tumble kind of guy, it's just out of his nature.
Much has changed for Kobe since his '07 trade demand, but not all
DENVER – Kobe Bryant sat in Carmelo Anthony’s home arena on a day when Bryant’s career inched further toward immortality with the news he’ll become the first athlete to have his hands and feet imprinted at Grauman’s Chinese Theater in Hollywood.
It’ll happen next month, the day before the All-Star Game. For that, Bryant is set to beat out LeBron James in fan votes for the first time since 2006, when Bryant’s ballot box got stuffed by 81 points on a certain January night.

Speaking of points, Bryant is now 51 points shy of Hakeem Olajuwon and eighth place on the all-time NBA scoring list. Bryant’s legacy is by now secure.

Meanwhile, Anthony remains loosely docked in Denver. And on Thursday, Bryant looked back past his three NBA Finals trips in three years to his trade-me experience while disgruntled with the losing Lakers in 2007. Bryant could laugh about it now (although it was at Bryant’s own joke at the expense of Smush Parker).

Bryant also reflected on 2004, when he nearly left the Lakers via free agency. He grinned at the no-trade trump-card clause he held that made the process a lot more enticing for him than for guys who now, he said, “are seeing the power of the league controlling players.

Hopin for a good game tomorrow and they start off this five home-game series right.

Pau needs to be assertive, lookin for Bynum to stay outta foul trouble, and Ron needs to pick his shots.

Im pretty confident in Odom as of late, and waitin to see if Kobe does work in the 3rd and make this a routine.

Most of all, everyone gotta focus on their defense and share the ball.

damn jerry west said we wont be that top team much longer. says we may have one good run left in us. that hurt, coming from him. there's no reason we cant grab some young talent here in there and re-energize all over again, a la san an. although there will never be another kobe =/
