[::OFFICIAL LAKERS 2010-11' SEASON THREAD Vol. It Was Fun While It Lasted::]

Gasol today was just horrible against D12, it was definitely a statement game for the Magic... Howard was straight up beasting against Gasol today

Wasn't a big loss for us fellas. Magic were over due, very predicatable win for them. I'm not scared of the Magic, they're just not that good this season imo.

Shannon...Wow. Dude can't dribble, can't hit jumpers, and always trys to add the exclamation point on his dunks and MISSES instead of just getting the easy @#%$#%$ bucket.

Pau Gasol...The white swan...Nuff said. Bynum didn't play bad, but I wouldn't be surprised if he misses the next game or his knee exploded or something.

We'll be alright.....

But Ron Artest's offense does not exist anymore. He's probably one of the worst starters in the NBA offensively which is a joke considering some of the layups he'll miss.

I'm surprised nobody has gone in on Fisher much. I mean I like fisher and he's clutch in the playoffs, but borderline useless in everything else. Not only is he a bad defender, he's shooting worse than Ron Artest this season.

It does not matter how good your bigs are if your perimeter players are worse than NBDL level (except for kobe of course)

Bynum was not 100% even before the game and now is limping AGAIN. Lakers will regret not trading this dude for Anthony if the rumors were legit.

I don't know if people in here know that we're the TWO TIME DEFENDING CHAMP. Teams are out on a mission to beat us. Y'all acting like teams are not prepare to beat us. Last year is not the same as this year. Every other good teams in the league have somewhat figured out a strategy to beat us. It has been a routine this year. We win a few games and then next thing we play like a team that has no business winning a championship. Give credit to other teams defense. They play great defense on us and exposed our softness. We're overrated

can't win em all. i'd take 6-1 on the road trip knowing that one of those wins was in boston.

now the lakers need to end the curse of the bobcats tomorrow, and and not let the stench of L in ohio get to them this week and go into the all star break playing decent.

Bummer to see the Lake show lose tonight, but it's only February. This team hasn't peaked yet, and is just going to go through the motions for the next couple months. Playing their best during the playoffs is what matters most, and if that means they lose a couple games here and there until then, I'm fine with that. Come playoff time, I hope this being "Phil's last stand" will motivate them enough to start firing on all cylinders and take care of business, it'd be a shame for Phil to go out without a final hurrah.

+1. I'd be ecstatic if we went 6-1, hell... everybody thought we weren't even going to win ONE game on this trip, that's how much everybody panics!

BTW, what happened to Bynum? I didn't catch the game, just saw the box score... heard he got hurt again?

Dammit, told yall we should've dropped these bums!!!!! Bynum ol Mr. Glass, pau wet paper soft !!$, Ron...@%*! is he in the league for???, Shannon...Shannon...got dammit Shannon, time to clean house! Do it Mitch, or I will.

Lmao nah I'm kidding. I actually didn't have a huge problem with this loss tonite. I mean I was hoping for a win, but L's happen occasionally. The lakeshow has done well the last 4 games, and I'm confident they'll finish out this trip strong. They can beat Orlando in 7 games, they're not a threat, they were just due for the win. The only issue of this game is the status of bynums knee..

What is it with Lakers games that in the 4th they look like they can always go either way? Early in the 4th I thought yall had this. I'm not nreally impressed with the Magic but I guess Kobe needs more help out there.

Phil sits Kobe too long.

And when Phil sits Kobe too long, that also means that Shannon Brown is playing like an idiot out there.

Loss was w.e though, very predictable loss.

I don't care what point in the season it is, I don't understand why Phil Jackson benches Kobe Bryant for 20-30+ minutes (real time). It only takes 7-15 minutes to get your wind back.

Seems as if the LA Lakers are actually throwing games this season.

Long term thinking my dude. Phil wants to ensure his best player has plenty of gas in the tank come postseason time.

It is one thing to say that you can not win them all but they just did not come to play today. I did not see anyone out there that was going 100% or even 80%. It is disgusting when Pau does not even move on those lobs. Same with
vagynum.

QFT. I was watching NBA Unscripted and I remember something along those lines that is what Phil wants to have for his players when the "important" part of the season starts.

Tough loss today. Can't win it all and I think the team is just drained from that back to back against Boston and New York.

the lakers didnt deserve to win, i'll say that.. but the refs really sucked yesterday too.. kobe didnt go to the stripe all day.. and the fact that the 3pt shot by fisher got recalled and changed into a 2 was stupid, barely with his big toe on the stripe, while gilbert arenas can step out of bounds to throw that 3rd qt ending alley oop to howard. and the commentators say, the refs cant review it, cause it wasnt gilbert arenas who shot it.. BS! you step out of bounds, possession to the other team. if you call it on one end, call it on the other too!!

they should start selling the authentic revolution 30s of these jerseys.. or better yet, just go back to the those as regular jerseys cause the Vneck it kinda sucks..would be sweet to have a #8 for that jersey... i only have the nike #8 2nd year..

^ Was just gonna post that, they have the revolution jerseys at nbastore.com as well, if you're willing to shell out $250, me personally, I'm completely happy with my swingman jerseys.
And I agree, they should go back to the old style version.  V-neck style has overstayed it's welcome.

What I'd like to see even more, is a White version of these.
