[::OFFICIAL LAKERS 2010-11' SEASON THREAD Vol. It Was Fun While It Lasted::]

Man the slurp fest continues by the T'Wolves home TV crew
laugh.gif

They spent 5 minutes while the game was going on live, discussing how great & nice Kobe's shot is. Then after the game on the post game show they got a special feature on him.

Then they followed it up by doing a stat comparisons from last year to this year on the Lakers titled "No need to worry Laker fans"

laugh.gif

If I was a T'Wolves fan watching the game at home I'd be disgusted right now.

A win is a win.

But this game was so horrible tonight that if I were a fan and paid to go see this live & in person at the Target Center tonight I would seriously ask for a refund on my game tickets.

On another note I feel bad for Kurt Rambis dude looks miserable and like he's losing hair by the minute while coaching this T'Wolves team.

Lakers sure as hell better not play like this on Friday against the Bobcats our else they will lose by 20+.

--Lakers lucky Twolves clanked all their shots.
--Bobcats have the Lakers number.
--AKA automatic L. Bobcats 101 Lakers 92 Final

True.

But honestly not even our own home announcers Joel Myers, Stu Lantz, Spero Dedes go in that hard when it comes to slurping on Kobe.

Mychal Thompson though on the radio is another story

Ehh for $8 bucks a game for the season I could care less this has been the same story for this team. Big lead no one willing to lead the team to victory.

Yeah our broadcast team does praise other guys especially Kobe. There is time when Jim Pete will tear into the wolves but when you have the Lakers on television I think they have to talk about them. A lot of Laker fans in the stand like usual, a real sloppy game by both teams I was expecting the Lakers to turn it on or the Wolves to crumble.

Rambis will be fired soon because our Owner is a moron and this franchise biggest joke is the GM and his decision.

I was impressed by Wes Johnson. His jump shot looked smooth and he did a solid job defending Kobe until the third quarter.

Damn $8 dirt cheap tickets. How much are courtside or seats in the lower levels. If they are that cheap I may just have to make a trip and visit some family out there next season when the Lakers are @ Minnesota.

Also whats up with Target getting the naming rights for both the home arena for the T'Wolves and the Twins ballpark?

Is Targets corporate headquarters based in Minnesota?

I know it's your thing to "jinx" us and cause us to win
laugh.gif

But if we were going by how you predict the end results we would be 0-82

Do you have no exception to a game and say yea we got this?

I have the feeling Kurt Rambis will pull a crazy trade for us : Luke + Cash for Kevin Love before he quit and come back to the lakers.

I would serisouly do something insane like burn down the target center if Rambis had any power to pull that trade off.

I'm hoping Wes can become like a ray allen type of player i think if he learn how to move with out the ball he can be very good and stay in the league for a long time. I always find it interesting how most young players don't play like that.

It's really $ 4 per person me and ohyeah10 got season tickets because it was a draft lottery special. Where ever the wolves landed in the draft we would have to pay for this season. I was dam sure hoping we could land the #1 pick. Yeah the Target hq is in Minnesota. Lower level tickets are about 35-200, then courtside are maybe around 1 or 2 thousands.  For certain teams of course it's higher and some teams they have deals that are really not that bad.

--Yeah. On the 7 game road trip I said the only pencil in win would be Cleveland. How'd that turn out.

--Its usually doom and gloom as some call it or borderline neutral/positive posts.
--Once a streak ends I just go back to posts that are not too positive but still show that I'm all Lakeshow dude.

Luke's passing ability and knowledge of the triangle... and every single NBA playbook ever created by anyone, ever... makes that trade way lopsided.

Luke + cash for Love + Beasley

Slightly more fair.

Did y'all see the Hometown Heroes thread? Good concept.

See my tweaked version of his version of the Lakers?

PG Baron Davis (Santa Monica, CA)
SG Russell Westbrook (Lawndale, CA)/Gilbert Arenas (Van Nuys, CA)
SF Paul Pierce (Inglewood, CA)
PF Trevor Ariza (Los Angeles, CA)
C Tyson Chandler (Compton, CA)

And we can throw in the following to make it an actual 12-man squad:
Andre Miller
Josh Childress
Tayshaun Prince
Arron Afflalo
James Harden
Brandon Jennings

Damn championship squad right there.

Couple of other guys:

SG: Demar Derozan (Compton)
PG: Jordan Farmar (Taft High School Woodland Hills)

Yeah I know even though I didn't like Farmar as a Laker he's good enough to be 3rd string PG

I was going to add Brook & Robin Lopez since they were born in North Hollywood but they played high school basketball in Fresno.

Same goes for Kevin Love. Born in Santa Monica but played high school basketball in Lake Oswego.
