just cant see him and lou on the court together cuz docs likely gon let lou shoot at will as usual anyways, wish lou was a better spot up shooter

pg is out tomorrow due to a hamstring injury, coming of what seems to be their longest rest too, hope its not too serious

collison wil def cut into those lou will mins especially when lou will isnt red hot. th lou will leash will be a bit tighter.

the collison/bev/pg/kawhi/trezz or ZU lineup will be a terror defensively

ideal line up to finish the game but it seems too obvious for doc to use

lous gon be there somewhere

Clips are tied for 2nd in the west, w/the 5th best net rating in the league, it's even higher when PG and Kawhi play, and the sky of falling.

That's how you know the Clippers are really damn good.

the team is not good for my health

they playin the dubs i was stressed and angry and confused and joyed and pissed the whole 48 min

I expected the team to come out a little rusty because of having 4 days off, but getting that W last night was a bit tougher than I would have preferred. LOL.

Am not trying to kill the optimistic homer card but some serious perspective needs to be had w/LAC.

They are 27-12, good for 2nd in the west (Tied w/Den, who we play tomorrow)

Of those 12 losses, 7 came in games in which either PG and Kawhi didn't play, or BOTH flat out didn't play.

They have a top 5 net rating despite all the injuries, with the best win profile in the league currently. Tied w/the Lakers and Heat for most wins against teams over .500 currently.

Not tripping too much. But we could also use a move. Would not feel great going into the postseason with this exact roster

if we can get the turnovers down to 9-11 a game and stop having the big 17-22 turnover nights and continue to lock down defensively, but more consistent...LAC will continue to be a hand full. i could live with a bad lou will night if the team has less than 10 turnovers

Game in Denver turned when Trez came in for Zu.

Zu finished with 18 minutes.

The Clippers either need to play Zu more (Which they should, he's really good) or trade Trez. He's too bad at defense and while he's talented offensively, he doesn't score outside of the paint, which causes some spacing issues.

It's unpopular and I'm sure I'm probably alone in this, but Zu's better than Trez and the Clippers defensively look WAY better with him on the floor.

i agree with zu getting more minutes, dudes defense is elite and jokic couldnt do much in the beginning offensively

and on the other end, zu got to much easy buckets from drop passes and cuts

its just doc being doc, always obsessed with players like trezz and lou

I would be open to this only because we won’t be able to keep Trez. But I’d love to see ~5 min of them playing together.

Still a believer that this team needs more gel time, less turnovers and to run more. A pnr playmaker at point as well.

27-13 isn't bad, especially for all the health bumps in the road this team has faced.

Most of us thought we'd be a 2-4 seed before the season and imo, we should only be about 3-4 games better given the circumstances.

IMO

what’s killing them is that both are 5’s so playing them together isn’t feasible I don’t think

I think Trez is better in a Vacuum than Zu, but you won’t find too many 6’7 centers who can’t defend playing 30 minutes a night on title teams

It’s exactly what I’m seeing. The minute disparity is just far too drastic. I don’t even think they need to make a trade, just play Zu more. But if he doesn’t trust Zu then he needs to trade for a footer that he trusts

Trez is essentially the starting center for the clippers

can you find me starting centers on contenders who are 6’7 and can’t defend?

You might be right that playing together won’t work, but how can we really know if the team never gives it shot? Small sample size, but Zu seems to be pretty capable from 15-17 foot range. He wouldn’t have to occupy the same space on offense as Trezz. I’d like to at least see what it looks like, but I doubt it happens.
