OFFICIAL LOS ANGELES CLIPPERS 2024-2025 SEASON THREAD

just doc being doc, he just doesnt/barely adjusts

he'll sink with trezz and lou out there no matter what happens

If I was a Clipper fan, I'd begin to get worried about all the wear n tear Trez is getting. I dont think he can keep holding down the fort inside for 4 more months and expect him to be fresh for the playoffs where he will once again be forced to guard the likes of Jokic, Capela, KP, AD, Gobert, etc

Playing Zu only 17 min a games lets me know he ain't ready. I've said it from the start all the way back during summer, the Clips' biggest weakness is they dont have the size inside to complement Kawhi like he had when he had Duncan, Splitter, Baynes, Siakam, Ibaka, Gasol, etc. Who else is left to hold down the paint, Patterson and Jamychal? But what do I know lol

Good luck Clippers fans. Hope Balmer knows what he's doing and gets you a center who can actually give you solid consistent minutes to help take the load off Trez cause frankly, Zubac cannot be trusted once the playoffs start. Zu will get eaten alive by each and every big in the west playoffs.

What’s frustrating about it is that, when we had less talent for a couple years, Doc was actually really good about experimenting with different line-ups and not being too rigid in his rotations. Some of that was out of necessity because of injuries, but still.

y’all gonna make me want doc fired. But we’ll have to go with a new achool guy. Someone that thinks outsider the box.

I’m not in favor of the team making a coaching move during this season. But if everyone is healthy for the playoffs and we don’t get to the Finals, then yeah...

its really when he has no choice that he discovers these talents, i truly believe it was an accident when he discovered trezz, he had no choice and played him and then boom, his hustle and hard play and being complimentary to lou made him a good player but if the stars didn't align that one night, trezz would likely still be in the d/g-league

he has a bad judgement of character, he is stuck with playing the likes of macgruders and thornwells and how many good complimentary players have they gotten that had a good season prior to going to clips and then once in there they were useless and then goes to another team and kind of have a resurgence? speights? dudley? felton? those guys arent stars but they make an impact as the 8th, 9th, 10th player off the bench before or after they get to the clips

main prob here is kawhi only signed for 3yrs (3rd yr player option iirc) so if doc cant get it together, he might be out in 2021 with PG in tow

i know those two are LA guys but i see no issue with them jumping to the lakers and team up with AD if lebron leaves to play with his son

the logo go' have to pull out one or two more amazing moves this season or the next to get this team to the next level

One of The issues with personnel and coaching moves is the effects it has on chemistry. Do you get the same production out of trezz if Lou will is gone and vice versa? How much do the players like doc, and what happens if he's dismissed at a later time? Does that have a direct effect on klaw and pgs decision in 2 years?

I still think collison potentially being a clipper changes alot and this team is in great shape right now as is. A game out of the number 2 seed mid season with no practice time, no identity, no continuity and plenty of time, with the hardest part of the season behind us...sounds good to me.

IMO

Oan, Klaw going off last night has to be on some ty lue get back type stuff lol

Not a great performance by any means, but considering we were down 10 to start the 4th, pretty fortunate.

Losing count of all the huge offensive boards Pat has grabbed this season.

Lou has bought himself 5 games of no criticism for me. Could not have won this game without him. He had some big deflections on defense too

Headick taking guys off the dribble, finishing over 7 footers, dunking, he's got some **** that's beyond just a JJ clone. He's coming around. Clips unlocking him is a GAME CHANGER HIM HIM

The Lou Will experience. He was awful defensively in that 2nd quarter, part of why Pelicans were able to get some clean 3's.

Then offensively he just comes and wrecks **** :lol :lol

been a beast offensively since his son was born lol

man I remember him competing (winning?) a dunk contest in college or HS. He almost had a dope dunk last game. He’s been driving with a purpose. I really think he has the potential to be a really good starter in this league.Way more athletic than he looks and he can shoot the lights out. If he can take his handles to the next level he’ll be a key cog on the team. Love the guy

Landry fouls too much, but he might get better about that, particularly if he gets a reputation as a defender.

there was a point in the 4th with kawhi on the bench where lou will came down about 5 or 6 times and literally just iso'd into quick shots. he literally only got one and 1 out of those possessions. it was brutal. i know lou will was cooking but if you're gonna call his number so many times in a row, at least make them run a play for him.

Yeah, we were fortunate there the Pelicans weren’t hitting shots...
