This isn't as bad as y'all are making it seem.

It's not up to the standard Lupe has set for himself....due to the mainstream/poppy sound it has.

The lyrics are there..sorta...but the presentation is just horrendous. I just wanna hear Lupe speak but its difficult to enjoy it with the way this is put together.

Interview - Lupe Fiasco Hates Lasers

I had to do ['The Show Goes On'] and it had to be the first single if the record was going to come out.

When I think about everything that I went through on this record, I hate this album.


For the record I just gave the album a listen, and while it may not be his strongest effort, songs like Break The Chains, Beautiful Laser, Words I Never Said, and State Run Radio are really good in my opinion.

im gonna keep it 100. this is a 2 mic album AT BEST. i wasn't expecting much because this was not the original lasers that lupe wanted to put out. atlantic made him do this. im still going to buy the album regardless to show support to lupe. *waits for Food and Liquor 2 (the real Lupe) to drop

Buying this album is supporting Atlantic and what they wanted to do, not Lupe

Compared to his previous albums this is definitely a change. But im really feeling this, its the type of music you can just listen to enjoy. He still has songs where he speaks on real topics. But its catchy he did a pretty good job for an album he supposidely hates.

This album sucks. 

 I can't respect it anymore after hearing that even Lupe doesn't like it.

I had low expectations after the cheesy singles but this album is UTTER GARBAGE. Shining Down and I'm Beaming > anything on this **#$
