Yesterday Lupe said he just handed the album in to Atlantic....so any insiders have a good estimation on when we might be hearing a release date...is an announcement made mid feb even realistic.... for a Mid/ Late March release or is that too early??

not happening. its pretty much February already, so its definitely not droppin this month. wont be droppin in March cuz thats still too soon, they're gonna need AT LEAST a couple months to promote it and stuff. so it probably wont come out in April either. so I think its safe to say that its comin out sometime in May. in the interview he did say right before the summer. so I can almost guarantee its droppin in May

Geez...i cant see them waiting to May to drop this...April yeah just because their gonna wanna let the coast clear from the Drake release which is suppose to be end of March...but even that may change

Hip-hop act scheduled for March 5 concert

CLAREMONT - Lupe Fiasco will bring his hip-hop stylings to Bridges Auditorium, 450 N. College Way.
Fiasco - known for hits such as "Superstar" and "Kick, Push" - will perform at 8:30 p.m. March 5.
"WithLupe, he's got a new album coming out," said Jim Nauls, assistant deanof students and director of student activities at Claremont McKennaCollege.
"It's like picking Ludacris - he's available, and our students all know him and like him."
Rapper Ludacris performed in January 2009 at the auditorium, which holds about 2,500 people.
The Associated Students of Claremont McKenna College spent $50,000 to have Fiasco perform at the auditorium.
Tickets for Fiasco's concert go on sale to students Monday and to the general public on Feb. 12.
Tickets can also be purchased by visiting www.ticketmaster.com or by calling 800-745-3000.
Hip-hop act B.O.B. will be one of the openers for Fiasco.
Pomona College owns Bridges Auditorium. The Claremont University Consortium operates the facility.
Fiasco'sreal name is Wasalu Muhammad Jaco. He was born in Chicago and rose tofame in 2006 following the success of his critically acclaimed debutalbum, "Lupe Fiasco's Food & Liquor."
