**Official Meek Mill Thread****Dreamchasers IV Out Now**

Get Em Barbz. I didn't know he was going on tour with Nicki and had 4 million followers. Had I known that, I would have expected 160-180. Her fans love him and the relationship.

CDs coming out on Fridays starting this week

Let's just face the facts, people were eager to hear this. No matter what son do got the whole younger generation, every local rapper/scammer in my city got a dreamchasers styled chain. I see dudes quoting his lyrics on IG like them ***** be deep or something. Add that plus rozay co sign and now Nicki being his *****? He ain't gonna lose. He ain't never breaking up wit girl at this point

He said if he did good he was gonna drop something else right back so hopefully he got a mixtape coming soon...I'm still playing the album though [emoji]128526[/emoji]

Put the hate aside thats coming from others, in my eyes it's always good to see people doing good. So congrats to him.

Not saying that NIcki didn't give him a boost, but lets not forget nicki moved 194,000 in her first week, it's not like she has a Beyonce sized fan base.

*Jaw dropping* :eek Who bought all these albums?? I thought his fanbase was 90% hood folk?!
I have no idea!
Totally agree. I may go so far as to say, he's the best in MMG. Including William Roberts.
I can't friggin' wait.

I hope Gunplay has one of those overlooked classics for an album.

Dipset we agree? Ahh **** man first time for everything.

Mhm.

Hold on. But Meek is doing bigger first weeks than his label boss. So does this make Robert Williams the head honcho at MMG over William Roberts?

I think this album not leaking helped with the sales but if Meek's fanbase is 90% hood folk, why are they spending their hard earned money to purchase the physical?

Maybe we need to admit that Meek is one of the hottest rappers in the game. One of the few rappers than can sell out the stores...

Meek outsold Ross and Wale's first week sales combined on their last albums. Time to drop Wale.

His Barbz helped but 216 is stil impressive.

William Roberts ain't in a high profile relationship either. Not saying that Nicki fans bought every album cuz like I said he got all the young dusty dudes motivated, but it was all perfect timing. Every time they post a pic its regrammed on my timeline the whole day as relationship goals etc. So he kinda didn't need a single, he got promotion by posting his relationship pics.

Can't drop wale son stay getting radio spins. He knows his lane and after trynna slide out of it a couple times way back he stays his *** there. Stays with a female hit I swear.

Hoodfolk don't mean broke bruh [emoji]128514[/emoji][emoji]128514[/emoji]. Street ******, drug dealers and scammers all idolize son for his IG flossing. Every local rapper and scammer in my city got chains like his, go on Golden sun IG and look for yourself. As long as he gets the latest luxury whips and buss down roleys he will have that audience.

I think that's a sprinter... ?

Looks to jam pack to be a private jet

Meek out here winning tho, nothing but respect. [emoji]9994[/emoji][emoji]127998[/emoji]

Beyoncé changed the game with the Surprise album. Cole, Drake, Kendrick and Meek have used a similar formula.

It you have a solid fan base, you can win going that route. The old months and months of promotion thing is kinda dated.

In this instant gratification, following and wanting to be a part of something era....it makes sense to drop a surprise album, or one with only weeks of promotion.

Once an album starts trending, you can rack up sales and streams. No slow burners. Most of the consumption of the album will be within the first week.
