Wild to see how brainwashed cats can be though.

Licensed, half-***'d, cookie cutter, crappy craftsmanship = Real

Unlicensed, better material, better details, better product all around = Fake

Wild.
Voldemort Tru pays great attention to detail, and makes excellent quality jerseys that you can't find anywhere e.g. obscure players, but to be fair I prefer the quality of M&N authentics. Though maybe the lighter mesh is closer to the jerseys players actually wore back in the day.

Accurate M&N authentics are still the sheet.

Agree with your point though.

Mitchell & Ness’ authentic NBA jerseys are licensed inferior product.

Since they are licensed, they are legally approved to manufacture NBA jerseys in bulk without attention to detail. The NBA jerseys have a coke bottle slim fit, stiff cardboard mesh, and one-size-fits-all fonts and numbers that are not scaled proportionately.

TruCustoms are considered unlicensed counterfeits, regardless if they are making the superior product that is more accurate. They are still fake and legally wrong.

Mitchell and Ness NBA authentics are a like a legal scam

It’s unfortunate for the consumer that Mitchell and Ness isn’t allowed to have competition due to licensing, as they keep pushing out cookie cut NBA jerseys without any intent to improve their inaccurate product. The only option is to stop buying them but that’s not happening

Unless a brand is sponsoring me and providing me with free merchandise to support them. I have no reason to be loyal or overly defensive of any respective brand.

The decline in quality and lack of attention to details from Mitchell and Ness is unacceptable, and they should be torn a new one. Especially for more recent jerseys where they have access to og Authentics from that era to where they should be able to replicate the specs as accurate as possible.

I’ll use the black 97-98 Timberwolves Authentic which they did in Garnett and Marbury as an example in which they used a totally wrong material, yet somehow managed to use the right material for the Authentic shorts. It’s just laziness and them thinking their customers won’t notice or care.

Officially licensed doesn’t always equate to a quality product, and that’s keeping the focus here strictly on Mitchell and Ness, as I’m not bringing up some of the other options.

I don't understand the logic about jerseys being "fake", no players wore Mitchell and Ness jerseys on the court or field, so technically Mitchell and Ness "Authentics" are "fake" also....I don't understand the difference between Mitchell and Ness making a replica of a jersey originally made by another company vs a tailor doing it. Unless the jersey is reproduced by the same company that made it originally with the *exact* same specifications then it's not truly authentic IMO. So in that case, there is no difference between MN reproducing a Randy Moss jersey (that was originally made by Starter) and the local tailor making it. I would consider something real or fake based on its likeness to the original in that instance....if a local tailor can a jersey that's closer to the original why would his be "fake" but MN be "real"? I guess something is only "real" if it's mass produced and licensed even though its made by another company then the original producer and doesn't look the same as the original

You can buy better quality knock-off anything. Doesn’t make it not a knock off.

Hand stitching and hand painting the LV monogram on a premium leather handbag doesn’t make it an authentic LV leather handbag. Same for any other licensed good.

I don't think anybody is arguing this though. Everybody is well aware of Tru's "knock-off" status. Nobody is claiming his stuff is "authentic." Only thing anyone in here is saying is that he's far more accurate than M&N, and allows folks to get styles and players they couldn't normally get otherwise. I'd bet my house that if any person on here that owns one of his jerseys were stopped on the street and asked, they'd be the first to say "oh, this is a custom, from-scratch jersey."

That’s true. I think custom makes it sound like the base is an authentic product.

Difference is like what theshoesurgeon does vs. a brand like Kool Kiy if Kool Kiy included a Nike check with better quality.

This. And it’s reasonable to not post his stuff on here out of respect for the rules. They’re reps, not officially licensed merchandise etc. We get that.

But people are ultimately going to buy what they want to buy, and his stuff is going to be posted and talked about on various jersey groups as it’s been discussed well before everything that happened on here a few days back. The jersey community is different than the sneaker community, and his stuff is held in high regard by a bunch of longtime collectors. Many who have all sorts of pro cuts and gamers largely because it’s a more accurate product than what m&n is putting out. Jersey collecting is an expensive habit, people on here have the bread to cop a m&n authentic but are going with an unlicensed product because said unlicensed product is more accurate and attentive to details than m&n.

Sand knit, champion, starter, nike, puma, reebok, adidas, and m&n have all made nba jerseys at some point. Would be dope if someone like Tru ended up getting the funding to get everything licensed at some point. Even him or Mack from rivalry sports working and collaborating with m&n at some point would be dope as they could be an asset to m&n and help improve and enhance the brand and provide that attentiveness to details which m&n currently lacks.

You wanted your thread back from a troll and you have it.
Don't waste it bemoaning your inability to promote blatant IP violations, as if this is somehow an infringement of your rights.
