Official Mitchell and Ness Thread: Jerseys, Hats, Shirts, Shorts, Questions POST EM UP

Hadnt realize the EC went white in 91 and 92 (and 90). Adds up though since they were all EC team's stadiums

Right, the designated home Conference team traditionally wore white, and the visiting Conference team traditionally wore a colored uniform in the past All-Star Games.

But a different color on the name and numbers on back.

At first glance it reminds me of the Tune Squad jersey

Both of y'all beat me to what I was about to elaborate. But I'll gladly contribute photographic reference.

The 1992 All-Star jerseys were devoid of any stars on the front. And the NBA logo is about the right height on that Mitchell & Ness version. The only thing a little f'd up about that version is the width of the shoulders, which has been a common flaw plaguing their NBA jerseys due to them using an inaccurate cookie cutter template for years now.

^^^I'm sorry about the blurriness of that one, but it's the only 1991 Eastern Conference team photo I could find online.

My man, H headdetective , understandably got it mixed up with the 1991 All-Star jerseys, which do look quite similar honestly. And @beh235 got it right with expounding on the design gimmick for that year's jerseys predicated on the host city and its nickname.

My brother bending that Jordan card fresh out the pack was the 1st and last time I kicked his ***.

If any of you guys cant wait, Unknwn has several pairs for $250 right now. Just grabbed the Sixers joints from them. I'll wait on Oneness sale to grab the Lakers

Copped the black/red pin stripe jersey and JD shorts .. had to cop the jersey in small instead of med because thats all they had left. I wear a 38 in suit jackets so it might be too small (its a 36, right). If it os too small then I might just resell it or something.

NBA Dons the only joints that get run wit me.

Other joints don’t make sense in the least bit, but I’m not mad at y’all who cop.
I feel you....it took me awhile to get used to it, cuz Dons are basically basketball shorts...so why make basketball shorts for MLB/NFL teams? Its like making baseball jerseys with NBA teams....but I did cop a few MLB shorts on sale. And IMO the besides the NCAA run the best dons ever made were the Brooklyn dodgers joints from a years back. Been waiting on a reup on those for years...would pay retail on the spot if they dropped.

They know people will buy it. It’s like you said, why make MLB basketball shorts? It’s obscure and different but at the same time pretty appealing

Congratulations, your credibility is dead lol
Lol *my* credibility is dead? You did what's called quote mining which is grimy lol....what I said was they were the best besides the NCAA run, which means they were like 7th best after the UNC, Gtown, Michigan, UNLV releases. But seriously, no one can tell me these aren't 🔥
