I dont know if people are in the same category as me, but I learned the hard way that the 7in version fits drastically better in terms of general fit. The regular versions turns out is just a tad longer than i'd like for casual wear nowadays. However, this is not applicable for everyone, 7in might be too short especially if you are around 6 feet or taller

some folks might disagree but as someone thats turning 40 this year the fit means quite a bit.
