If you got a couple friends, pitch in a few bucks each and order it. Or find a sports bar around your area broadcasting it. Most Buffalo Wild Wings andHooters show it around here (AZ), but not sure about your particular area.

Well, slow down. The Affliction card looks good "on paper", too.
The novelty of all these big names is definitely appealing. But it's definitely set up to be a real letdown, IMO.
Honestly, I'd watch it just to see Fedor. But I'm not sure I'd throw around superlatives like "classic" before the matches even takeplace.

The last time I got excited about a Tim Sylvia match, he held Brandon Vera against the cage for 15 minutes.
I mean, seriously. When was the last time Babalu had you anticipating one of his matches?

Hell yeah...but Brandon's rematch with Werdum was denied. O well, !$#*. In the P.I. the event is going to get crazy ahahaha. Im pretty sure MMA isgrowing in the P.I with Brandon having public training sessions there, they had an event last year, i forgot it had to do with teams, Barnett, Shamrock,Herring, Babalu..... Hopefully aftet that stop, UFC goes back to Brazil and Japan. And Possibly a Hawaii outside event in 2009, UFC just needs a Athleticcommission in Hawaii to go by, and Hawaii will have it decided by 2009. UFC announcement will be made next week tuesday.

Fedor is still unknown to most people so a loss wouldn't really kill his career lol plus people would obviously come up with excuses ie fedorhasn't fought in a long time etc, that being said I don't see anyone beating fedor and I believe he's an MMA god.

other MMA sites/boards have insiders...at the beginning of the season some started with posts that said *spoilers*. i thought of reading but decided not tosince its one of the 3 shows i only watch on TV. im guessing these insiders are 1-2 weeks ahead since the airing has the actual day + preview of the nextepisode.
my best bet is JT. I think he's the only one capable of doing it.
-CB is the Mac Danzig this season...dude knows to channel his energy.
-Amir, well a possibility but thinking that he got to this point without a professional bout will probably make him more disciplined
-the other dude, well, i couldnt/wouldnt think he'd do it.

The UFC is currently planning an event that Saturday night to be televised live on Spike TV, Sherdog.com has learned from multiple industry sources.
The proposed event would take place the same evening that popular clothing line entrepreneurs Affliction will make their foray into the pay-per-view marketwith "Banned," its first MMA event at the Honda Center in Anaheim, Calif. Zuffa's impromptu event, which is being pulled together on fiveweeks' notice, is tentatively scheduled to be held in Las Vegas.
Studied strikers Wanderlei Silva (Pictures) and Brandon Vera (Pictures) have been approached to clash in a light heavyweight main event, though othercombinations of one or both of these fighters are also being considered.
Vera, who has made all six of his Octagon appearances at heavyweight, has long expressed his interest in the 205-pound division. The San Diego, Calif. residentwill look to rebound from a controversial first-round stoppage loss to Brazilian Fabricio Werdum (Pictures) at June 7's UFC 85 "Bedlam" inLondon.
After a disappointing start in the Octagon with a hard-fought loss to Chuck Liddell (Pictures), former Pride 205-pound champion Silva earned praise for hisswift 36-second knockout of Keith Jardine (Pictures) at UFC 84 "Ill Will" last April in Las Vegas. The victory snapped a three-fight losing streak,which also included losses to Dan Henderson (Pictures) and Mirko "Cro Cop" Filipovic.
