He had surgery and his velocity is down a bit. From 95-94 to 92-93. He'll build up his strength slowly. Well atleast I hope.

I ate some of the leftover sea food from yesterday w/ white rice and guandules (Spanish type of beans). It was a coincidence that it was made though, not doneon purpose

@ them putting him back in the rotation duringinter-league play...that's what got us into this mess to begin w/. I know there's not much they can do about it though. If he's ready to go -he's ready.

Great game to watch tonight.

I was confused as to why Mariano was STILL in the game in the 9th but I guess he was put in so he could build up his arm strength; he had said in the past thathe needed to throw more in order to build up arm strength and build up velocity.
