I was at the game last night. I was the minority, rockin' the Yankee lid, and Mo Rivera player t-shirt. The atmosphere was bananas. Pre-game, peeps wasamped. Feels like the good ol' days. That vibe is back. Hope the Yanks can sustain the lead.

This team REMINDS* me of '98. Same characteristics.

Off the top of my head, these are some of the things that this team has compared to '98:

- Dominant SP
- Dominant Pen
- Good D
- Timely hitting
-"we can win every game" attitude
-"we can come from behind" attitude
-Every bat picks up for eachother and every pitcher picks up for eachother

There's just so many things. We can win games with small ball or long ball.

And that Pic of Tex has the making of becoming something. Maybe if he becomes a Yankee legend, that'll be his signature pic.

no doubt i dont want no problems anyway...root for who you want to root for i guess...personally i couldnt flat out root for the mets if the roles werereversed...i'd just be indifferent to the mets and watch them cause i enjoy watching baseball

as far as the '98 team...its close. The main similarity is the believing they can win every game and believing they can come back every game. the swaggerlevels are enormous right now, they dont care whats going on in the game they just try to hit which they do extremely well when clicking.

im nervous about the bullpen, but i like the fact that i think Girardi will go to Hughes A LOT in the playoffs...maybe for 7th and 8th in close games with Mogetting 4 out saves. I pray to god Sabathia comes through in the playoffs, i trust Burnett's nastiness in a short series more than CC for some reason.
