I mean, if he starts rotating them this early they can get used to it. And if a starter gets injured I guess it would make for a smoother transition. But ultimately its to get the most out of Arod and Jeter (keep em healthy) who might be the 2 most clutch hitters in the lineup. I never thought Girardi was a huge overthinker. More than the average manager but I LOL at anyone who thinks Maddon could just come here and manage the way he does in Tampa. He beyond overthinks it. But no one cares about baseball or sports down there.

I'm never ready this early to focus 100% on baseball, usually my attention is set on the Knickerbockers. Plus I'm tired of the +*!@+$+ blitzing media coverage pronouncing winners and losers a few games in (which happens EVERY season). "It's a marathon, not a sprint..."

Between the Knicks stretch run and the NHL playoffs starting tomorrow night, Yanks will be on the back burner. Won't post as much.
