I'm disgusted with this team right now. We've lost like 7 of our last 10. Bats are ice cold and pitching is shaky again.
I mean they lost four games in Oakland by one run a piece with good pitching, won two out of three in Seattle and lost two out of three to a healthy Boston team where they came back from deficits while getting used to missing A-Rod. I'm not gonna rag on them too much. CC needs to get his **** together against Boston.
Hopefully Tex's injury isn't too serious.

McGee is a solid bat, RH power, hit 100 RBI 20 HR for Brew Crew 2 years ago. He'll be fine with NYY while AROD is gone

The funny part about it is that he had a 5 RUN LEAD and just bombs like that. Nova and CC have pitched like absolute **** this year no way around it. It's the exact reason why were gonna lose in the first round again this year.
CC's actually been pretty good, just awful against Boston as usual. But Nova can't pitch at home to save his life. He can't pitch well outside of any pitcher's park in the AL. He gets the most run support in the AL and still can't hold it most of the time. Guy has righties hitting over .300 against him.

CC's been OK but were not paying him all that money to be OK . You know if we end up playing Detroit again its curtains our #1 has no chance against the likes of Verlander , Weaver, etc in a 5 game series and that really sucks .

I wouldn't go that far. Yankees always beat Verlander around, beat Fister up and have Sanchez coming from the NL. Angels might be a different story but the Yankees are good against Greinke, Haren and Wilson is awful in the playoffs. We know they can hit with the best of them as well. CC has been better than OK too, especially if he didn't miss that time. Statistically the 5th best in the AL this year missing three starts. It's Nova/Garica/Hughes you have to worry about.
