There is on a good defensive team. We can't expect Ibaka to come over and cut off Kobe's penetration on the baseline then be at the basket to block/contest the cutter Kobe passes the ball too.

You have to be phenomenal to be able to change your game up that quickly and that easily. He could easily be one of the best playmakers in the L if he kept playing this way. With this lakers team, this is the type of Kobe they need.
