You Kings fans need to let it go. It's best for both parties to just part way. Send the Kings to Seattle.

Phil Jackson takes a management position then? 8o

That video makes me sad and I am not even a Kings fan

feel sorry for you bro... rockets about to get slaughtered.

then again both our teams will probably get swept in the first round

nah man, they'll win at least a game... i thought we wont make the playoffs so i'm on cloud 9 right now lol... all about that playoff atmosphere though

I hate the whole "Stats nerd" thing. How can you try and dismiss the stats. Theyre cold hard facts and are on equal footing with the eye test and in some cases more important because the stats are impartial

Though I think this is true, I believe actually watching the games and seeing how things develop is far better than skimming a box score and attempting to draw conclusions. Not saying JD6 does that, but a lot of people do, and that just makes for pages on pages of treadmill arguments.

Only thing I like about McHale are his interviews and commentary
I've always said that Mchale and Matt Millen are the same.... great at their TV jobs, but god awful at real jobs
laugh.gif

I hate how good of a comparison this is :lol

I'm not saying that you do this Peep but one thing I absolutely despise is the notion that people who use/know advanced stats somehow don't watch any games at all and just look at box scores. I think once some folks get rid of that stupid ******g thinking, they'd be more open to the fact that guys like JD or BigJ or OKB actually know what they're talking about.

I know alot of yall have a good time with making fun of the Kings and Sacramento.... but this sums up what they mean to me

hope yall enjoy it

and I know we never got past the Lakers or anything and are on the butt end of most of your jokes......

hell, in the Sacramento era (while selling out 19/27 seasons) they had a .431 record
laugh.gif
while making the playoffs 10 times and winning the division twice

but this literally had me in tears.... it whole heartily represents what it meant to be a Kings fan.

I know there are a lot of you who are from Detroit to Los Angeles to New York who are fans of the Lakers or some big name team, but as a kid who truly grew up in Sacramento, this is all I had.

from having my family in Hong Kong asking me, in the most brokenst of english, about "Jason Williams, Vlade, C Webb" and the rest of the Kings in the early 2000s to Robert Horry ripping out the soul of my childhood to the Kings coming back from down 35 in Chicago in 2009 or Tyreke at the horn from beyond half court vs Memphis.......it was worth every second of it.

I hope yall never have to go thru the heartache I've gone thru these last 2-3 years..... and I wish yall nothing but the best.

LONG LIVE SACRAMENTO

and

LONG LIVE THE KINGS

very unfair. that fan base was very loyal. with the only serious contender seasons being when chris webber arrived.

you all need to let it go with your nostalgia

gary payton, shawn kemp, nor ray allen come with the kings if they relocate to seattle.

if people want the sonics back let them come through expansion

tell balmer and hansen to bribe that scum bag david stern

if the maloofs werent such losers they would have sold this team to a local owner when they were trying to move to anaheim but they didnt. these douche bags just want to stick it to sacramento for no reason. simply because they are douche bags

Tell that to the hundreds people who will be unemployed through no fault of their own other than their employer is sticking it to them for their own personal agenda against the city of Sacramento.

Seriously how anyone can say otherwise confuses me. VC in his prime>

i'm just now getting around to reading bill simmons 2013 trade value piece (yes, i know i posted it yesterday).. did any of yall read this part about michael kidd-gilchrist and the accompanying footnote:

Michael Kidd-Gilchrist: How did the no. 2 pick from last year's draft not make the top 50? According to HoopData, MKG averaged 7.8 shots and made 3.5 of them (45 percent). More than half came at the rim (including 63 percent of his makes). Beyond 3 feet, he attempted 3.5 shots per game and made 0.9 of them (27 percent). That makes him the winner of the first-annual Kirk Goldsberry Award for Most Frightening Shot Chart. Good God, look at this thing!

Kirk Goldsberry/Grantland
(Translation: Love MKG's energy, love his character, love his athleticism … but if you're a perimeter guy in 2013 who can't shoot from more than 2 feet, your team isn't winning with you unless you're Plastic Man or Spider-Man. Could MKG be another victim of the Curse of Sam Bowie? Check this extended footnote for details.)[sup]10[/sup]

[sup]FOOTNOTE:[/sup]

[sup]An updated take on the Curse of Bowie (I wrote about it two years ago): Since Portland stupidly passed on MJ for Bowie in 1984, we've seen the following draft calamities at no. 2: Steve Stipanovich, Len Bias (R.I.P.), Armen Gilliam, Danny Ferry, Shawn Bradley, Stromile Swift, Jay Williams, Darko Milicic, Marvin Williams, Michael Beasley, Hasheem Thabeet, Evan Turner and Derrick Williams. Not counting MKG, that's 13 of the last 27 no. 2 picks! Even weirder, 12 other no. 2 picks (Anderson, Mourning, Kidd, Van Horn, McDyess, Camby, Bibby, Francis, Chandler, Okafor, Aldridge, Tisdale) were traded by the teams that selected them within five seasons. Only Kevin Durant and Gary Payton became franchise players for the teams that drafted them … only that franchise no longer exists. So if you're counting Seattle's murdered franchise, if MKG doesn't make it, we'll be 0 for the last 28 in the "pick him second, pencil him as your franchise guy for the next 12-15 years, retire his jersey" department. There's a reason they call that pick "Number Two."Jump[/sup]

you mean if mike brown accepts
mean.gif

they did dude dirty. fired him for nothing because lebron left after...

and people laugh about mike brown but he would be a helluva a lot better coaching a young team than a vet filled team

they would actually listen to him. hell he could be doug collins light and mention every hour how he coached lebron
laugh.gif
I bet Doug mentions coaching Mike in almost every practice.

collins light :lol

So if the cavs hire Mike Brown don't you take yourself out the Lebron race

Quite the opposite I believe, Bron knows that he can walk over Potato Head anytime he wants. Brown enabled a lot of the antics from Bron's entourage so I think his boys at the very least would be ecstatic.

That's a legit list. My favorite part about the Henderson dunk is still the guys on the Lakers bench standing up. :lol
