Does anyone in the Bay Area know who David Lee is? Carl Landry has been playing out of his mind. One of the best parts of the playoffs so far for me.

It's amazing to me that he has been shuffled around the league so frequently, almost a journeyman at this point.

Then again, Sacramento, Houston, and New Orleans wipe the slate clean as much as any team in the NBA.

Dude is pretty productive and is always a threat coming off the bench. I guess his leg injury/injuries (?) is/are what kept other teams from signing him long term.

this denver team is running into the same problem those old suns teams did. playing fast and playing zero defense come playoff time

slow the game down and play big and keep iggy on curry  at all times. karl has made zero changes to what golden state is doing to them while marc jackson has.

2 Games over .500
******** on Sefolosha :hat

That is 40 % vs 36% by harden in only 3 games :x

He is at 41% and 27ppg in the playoffs against him and the thunder. This is 31-33 year old Bryant vs 23 year old Harden.

Harden is shooting 14 free throws per game compared to 8.5 free throws per game for Kobe in the playoffs against the Thunder.

If you look at the stats, when Kobe went above 14 free throw attempts it was an automatic 35+ point game. Getting slurped by the refs and still not doing better than 2010 Kobe who had to have his knee drained in 2010 against the Thunder and was in retirement mode last year. :{

its not just Sacramento. Any small-mid sized market team is at risk of losing their team if they don't get a new arena up for the NBA. Thats exactly why (among other things) Seattle lost the Sonics in the first place. This was well documented in Sonicsgate.

I'll excuse your ignorance, because 90% of the people have no idea what is going on here. But just know, it ain't stupid for a small town to leverage already existing funds in to an economic catalyst for a nonexistant downtown.

Plus Sacramento does not want to become a Fresno, which is why our local and state government is backing this project. People here want to see growth in the state capitol.... not regress to Fresno-ness.

Who would just say "**** it, we will be Fresno"? Quiters do that. We ain't that, and I like to think that the rest of America ain't like that.

I know it sucks to be in the sucky south and being surrounded by inbred hicks with backwards old-fashioned thinking (I know because I lived there and have family there). But over here in the West Coast people have dreams and aspirations... not complacency and contentness of mediocrity.

This is bigger than basketball for me and the people of Sacramento.

Yo! I love my city of Fresno! Stop it! Lmao.

^^^Not to take anything away from Conley - he's been great - but it was Z-Bo and Gasol's play that really won those games for the Grizz. Their activity and offensive rebounding was the big difference. That and Billups, Jordan and Butler basically deciding to take the last game off.

It was all 3. You rarely see this team win when both Conley and Gasol are complete negatives. I don't think the team has won a game this season when both players play terrible. This is what I've been trying to get through people's head. Its not necessarily the success of Zach. Its the success of Conley and Marc. Zach has more success when he feeds off of those two guys and not being force fed. The other reason for our success is due to our play at the SF position. We didn't get ANYTHING out of Pondexter and Prince the first two games. We finally got something from Prince in Game 4 and Q stepped up in Games 3 and 4.

And another reason why Zach is having success these past two games is due to the fact that he's being more aggressive. He's making quick decisions with the ball instead of waiting on the defense to come to him. He's finally figuring things out. And those 3 Clippers that decided to "take the game off" is due to an elite defense adjusting.

TBH, I'm just as puzzled as how easily we won those last two games. When you look at the last 12-15 games we've played you guys, its never looked that easy. Part of me wants to say we've figured out exactly how to beat ya'll, part of me feels like Zach's last two games may be flukes when looking at the sample size of the entire season and part of me feels like the Clippers will put it all together in Game 5 and rip us apart. But, I do think if we win Game 5, this series will end on Friday.

This. Denver is trying to beat GSW at its own game and failing. They're making no effort to capitalize on their size advantage. The Denver bigs have been non-existent. And besides putting Iggy (and/or Brewer) on Curry, they need to try to get the ball out of his hands sometimes. Maybe trap him sometimes. But GSW has the benefit of also having Jack, who can handle and create plays.

Unfortunately, I agree. Game 5 is huge.

And, as far as Billups, Butler and Jordan disappearing, only part of it was defensive adjustments. Butler and Billups both had some decent looks - they just couldn't make anything. And Jordan is terrible on offense anyway, except when dunking, so no real adjustments have to be made for him.

The Nuggets trapped Curry in the first half and it led to this:

So either Bogut gets an open lane to attack the basket or sucks in the defense and kicks it out to the plethora of shooters flanking the three point line.

Never been a fan of David Lee.  I am not going to go as far as saying that we are a better team without him, but his injury has really allowed other Warriors to flourish.

Bogut, absolutely filthy. From the dotted line

Love that he is rounding into form at the perfect time! G'day Javale!

That was bad execution on Denver's part. The trap was kind of weak, making it easy for Curry to get the pass off, plus McGee rotated late. They could do a better job. And if I'm Denver, I'll take my chances with Bogut/Landry, etc. beating me. Better that then letting Curry explode or Thompson rain 3s.

He's a hard-nosed 90's OG player. He was coached by Rick Patino and Pat Riley (in their prime) as a player, to name a few disciplined coaches that coached him.

He's learned and taught based off that. He got his chance as a coach and hasn't disappointed yet.

So was Patrick Ewing and I'm pretty confident he would be a terrible head coach

Maybe being a point guard is the big factor

People forget how nice Bogut was in Milwaukee. His recent (freak) injury history has dropped him out of the discussion when it comes to the best C's in the game.
