Strange I always thought of Phoenix as a large city. Maybe they don't have that "Basketball Schedule"
It is a large city, quite large actually. But their attendance hasn't improved over the years - and if they face a dilemma where the team is for sale and they lose out on big players (i.e. Milwaukee's situation) and their having arena issues; they could be moved too.
This is why I'm so shocked everytime I am reminded the Kings sold out 17 of 29 seasons. It wasn't until the Maloofs started Maloofing the city in 06ish that the fans started to turn on them.

If the Kings stay, I can only imagine what new ownership will do for Kings fans who had been alienated by the worst owners in all of sports.

Man, I'm hoping you guys stay. I've been to Sac numerous times and have been to Arco arena 4-5 times - I've seen a legitimate fanbase there. I just hope you guys can get a Arena deal in place for Downtown, would be dope.

I would be pissed if they moved you guys.

If the Cleveland Browns and Sonics can be moved the Pistons ain't safe

I hope it never happens in my father's lifetime.

i know it "can" happen but it just wont. i can put money on it unless someone is foolish enough to do it. a few bad years and they are worthy of moving? we have won championships, used to sell out so many damn games, huge fan base, top of attendance for god knows how long. i mean a few down years is fine. If we start losing for the next 10 years then i can understand if there was speculation or complaint.

Clippers were losers for 30 years and no one said anything, i could name more teams. Pistons will bounce back eventually and they will be back up there in attendance once they start winning or become more exciting. They have a ton of young talent, add a piece of two and it can happen very soon.

Pistons have history in Detroit and the people of the state of michigan would never allow it. Plus they are most likely gonna move to a new arena in downtown detroit which i think might up the attendance even with a losing team.

This dude really said VA beach is part of the DMV.

Why do DMV people always clown on people when this happens? Its called DMV, its not a big deal if someone thinks the entire state of Virigina is involved. I know I used to.

Do the pistons have a contract lease at the palace of auburn hills? If not, they could very well be leaving in the near future. Detroit market is #11, Seattle is #12 (Sacramento #20). I don't think I need to say more about that. The nba is looking for a public/private partnership for new subsidies. How is Detroit going to come up with public dollars to fund a new arena on their end? Very serious questions that need to be answered because, coming from a kings fan, these will be the two most important issues if and when the time comes.

smh I get floor seats for pistons games for 10-20$. Our attendance is pathetic n the need an arena downtown with the rest of the teams

Because this whole "DMV" is some recent (last 5 years) stuff somebody came up with. People need to go back to just saying the DC area, it was a lot clearer then.

i think with the deal Gores owns the Palace and gets income from concerts and anything that goes on aside from Pistons games.

Plus, they dont need funding :lol

Dan Gilbert and or Illitch i forgot who are thinking of making a whole near arena downtown and multiple arenas, i forgot and they are thinking of including the Pistons but no idea what Gores would do in that case like i said with his ownership of the Palace.

They might not need funding or public subsidy, but the NBA wants city-franchise partnerships.

Otherwise all NBA cities would just demand ALL arenas be privately financed. And that is not a precedence the NBA wants to set.

Let's be real here.

Even without injuries...the Heat were going to steamroll their way to the NBA Finals.

I hate to admit it but Lebron is just in GOD mode. He's not losing to anyone this year.
Nah, man. I'm not with all that ****.

He's been having it too good for the past year and a half. I'm still holding out hope.

Before I say this, I just want to say that the fact that Jason Collins is gay doesn't bother me at all. His sexual preference has nothing to do with me and the fact that so many people care about other's sexuality is alarming. People's sexual preference is their business.

However, the thought of a 6'11 250 pound man being "gay" is just all kinds of weird and nasty to me :lol Pardon me, I've never heard or seen a gay man this big. (pause, no pun intended, etc.) I mean, a guy 6'11, 250, letting another man...I should just stop here :lol :{

What a wild day in sports.

I hope if Collins is on a team next year, him and Big Baby get tangled up and they just kiss each other on the cheek
