See, that's plain ridiculous. All that dancin they was doin, prolly lost by 35.

Work on your game >>>>>>> work on your handshakes. (and whatever you would call that dance off they was doin)

Lebron has a hookshot now? Has he used this in a game yet, anyone see it?

Eh.

Kobe Bryant shows respect to ailing referee Greg Willard

His family was waiting patiently down the hall. And as usual, after all the postgame icing and treatments he must go through to keep his 34-year-old body in the kind of shape it needs to be in for him to still be him, Kobe Bryant was one of the last Lakers to leave the locker room after Tuesday night's 114-80 loss to the Utah Jazz.

But Bryant had a stop to make before leaving the Honda Center and heading home to nearby Newport Beach.

Longtime referee Greg Willard, who was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in June, had just taken the court and officiated the game even as his body showed the ravages of the pernicious disease.

The Lakers had already sent the game ball to the referees' locker room. Several had shook Willard's hand after the game. Bryant stopped by for a visit on his way out.

"He's an extremely good ref," Bryant said of Willard, 53. "He doesn't hold grudges. He just makes the call in front of him.

"Honestly, tonight I wanted him to T me up for old time's sake. I didn't want him to have any kind of special night. I wanted it to be just like it's always been. I wanted to drop a couple F-bombs to him.

"I wanted it to be like how it's always been. That's the best way. "

In the second quarter, Bryant almost made that happen when Willard called him for a questionable hand-check foul. He turned and glared at Willard, who stood stone-faced. He said something colorful to him that might have earned him a technical foul, but obviously didn't go far enough. As good referees do in such situations, Willard walked away and ran down the court.

And the game went on.

He does not have the touch to actually implement that into game situations. It will be amusing if he tries for the first couple weeks.

Baby hook, like Magic used? Not the skyhook Kareem style right?

They plan on usin him at the 4 alot this year don't they? Bosh, Bron, Wade, Allen, Chalmers on O, sub in Battier on D late in games. That the plan for them this year? So he's going to be on the block a lot more this year than years past? I like that. He starts crushing that and it's going to get ridiculous. :smh:

Nice Q & A you had with yourself

Well after yesterday it's better I just sit in here and talk to myself. Dudes come out the wordworks with the quickness soon as I mention somethin they wanna pounce on. Don't want any batsignals goin off and ****.

Whatever happens...it won't be until after the season. Doubt we'll see an extension before the 10/31 deadline.

How can you work on your game when you're doing handshakes or making a handshake?

They probably figure out that **** after practice some day when they'd be listening to music, taking a shower, or doing some other **** that's not related to practicing basketball.

Don't see how dancing or handshakes relates to basketball productivity, like you've been saying over the years *shrugs* :nerd:

I assume so. Having Bosh, Bron, and Wade out there defensively isn't really a liability defensively, Ray can guard the laziest guy on the court, and Battier/Haslem/Shard be situational.

I'd like to see how they match up with a team like LAL or MEM in a seven-game series, just because it'd be tough to see LeBron on Pau or Zach for seven games. Not saying he can't do it, but I'd just be intrigued to see whether they'd still with Bosh/Bron @ 4/5.

That's my point. Rather than spend all that time dancing or doing all that crap, they could watch tape. Shoot free throws. Hell, get massages, SOMETHING that actually helps relate to their game.

They practice that stuff, the next guy is practicing his jumpshot. Who's gonna succeed more?

Ray Allen make all his shots by workin on his ****** handshakes? Know what I mean?

Are they hand in hand? No, probably not. But does it take SOME time and effort out of the time they could be working on something? Yes. Who was it? Monta and Maggette. Hmmmm, proven winners those two. Guys that don't need to spend any extra time workin now do they? Noooooo, they got the league by the balls, they rather practice dancin or whatever that was. (funny, but still)

Just how I view it, and always have. I wasn't just pickin on Bron back in the day, that's how I view it. And hopefully, Dwight Howard learned that lesson as well. Cuz he's another one.

That's a silly *** argument.

Handshakes don't have **** to do w/ working on your game. Not even seeing a point being made there. And your justification of using the players involved is even sillier. That is literally right before tip off. Everyone else is literally standing around. Should they be watching game tape and practicing jumpers too?

Sup Bros... How's everyone these days?

I see CP is talking to himself... He's doing fine.

Everyone else? What'd I miss? :nerd:

Getting injured while sleeping is maybe my biggest fear. Better you than me, Kev.

Edit: Oh, unrelated to that. Not a banner few days for the homie.

Love was injured during a morning workout. Just unbelievable the bad luck these #TWolves had

KLove will see a New York City hand specialist on Thursday for evaluation
Tommy Beer ‏@TommyBeer

Over the last 2 seasons combined, Love leads Minny in points, offensive rebs, three-pointers- and only Ridnour & Rubio have more assists.

Dear Derrick Williams, make it work. Love, Wolves fans.

God damn it.

Rubio torn ACL... Love broken hand...

Why can't a player like JJ Barea ever get injured? Has to be a franchise player, huh? :smh:

Time to fire Kahn.

Ever since that idiot compared Darko to Vlade its been all bad for that franchise.

Yeah... 2010 was when things started getting bad for the franchise. Not 2005-2010 when most probably didn't even know we had an NBA organization in the state.
