If we are gonna get into the nuances of this, aren't his assist numbers boosted because he prefers to dominate the ball & kick out to shooters? I mean he clearly has other guys who can create for themselves, yet they are forced to give up parts of their game so Lebron could be at his most comfortable.

It's the same double standard... But Lebron has to be the primary ball handler it causes fatigue... next sentence but look at his #'s tho.

Was this written about LeBron or Russell Westbrook?

So K.Love a guy who was putting up 25 a game as a #1 option with trash all around him suddenly wouldn't be able to score at All against KD or Draymond. He wouldn't be able to create offense out of the post or anything.... got you. JR the same guy who's been known as a sparkplug & Scorer his entire career suddenly can't get a shot by himself.... or has he been forced into a spot up shooter because Lebron can't play any other way.

The reason his teams have so many spot up shooters instead of "guys who create" is because the team & the players surrounding him have to negate their entire skill set & become shooters/slashers in order to be on the floor with Lebron. The only one who didn't adhere to that is now in BOS. Lebron game is amplified around shooters instead of creators..... so stop trying to use a strength of his as a crutch.

Oh you tryna set the whole thread on fire today huh  Mans is in an anarchic mood

I Actually gave heavy though about including Westbrook into the original post funny enough. People trash Russ rebounding & assist numbers because it seems to be a strategy employed by the coach & the team to put Russ in the most comfortable positions...

Yet we watch year after year as Lebrons offense is tailor made to his strengths even if it hinderes the more talented players on his squads. Yet there's nothing but ranting & raving about his "numbers".

Now don't get me wrong Lebron is easily a better playmaker & decision maker than Russ. But he's also in a system predicated to his strengths that does wonders for him & hurts players who can do more.

Narratives say one is a cancer & the other makes "everyone better"... despite their being a large sample size of Lebron making AS/Great role players looks progressively worse... let's ignite flames in here then

I can’t think of any player improving after leaving Bron but I can definitely think of many that did after leaving Russ.

because lebron usually gets them when they in they prime and then dumps then when they on the decline. So of course they not going to look better without him. I know quite a few players who have looked better before him

LeBron a basketball succubus.

Kyrie looks better without LeBron.

Either that or after no one else wants them anymore and he sees the few drops of talent left in them he can squeeze out

So if they aren’t in their prime anymore their going to get worse obviously... that has nothing to do with LeBron .
And Kyrie doesn’t look that much better than he did last year.

Kyrie is Kyrie. He's getting buckets regardless.
I don't really see that much of a difference TBH. Only difference is that he's the spearhead now.

Yeah Byrie look the same to me too
He just seems to be moving around a lot more.. off ball too.

Kyrie looks pretty similar. I agree that he's going to get better, but that's more so him entering his prime than having anything to do with LeBron.

Bosh did start putting up better numbers after LeBron left but that was probably just due to him having a bigger role again.

Yeah I mean he was the obvious #3 when Bron was there. Numbers going to dip by default.

lovetohate be like “shaq was way better before coming to the cavs, LeBron made him worse”
But this is why i have some of you dudes on ignore
Just spewing bs all day, y’all be fake knowledgeable.
shaq was past his prime before joining lebron tho. So that's not what I said. Nice try tho.

. Not talking bout old past they prime d rose and shaq type players when they joined him.
You moving that goalpost. Wade and bosh were both prime tho and love isn't and has never been utilized correctly with the cavs

Oladipo was a #1 option that was eventually benched before playing with Russ, averaged 16 points last year playing with Russ and is now averaging 23 and will probably be an all-star. Can’t think of any examples like that with Bron.
